Alec's POV (again and always until otherwise stated)
I don't know what went through my mind as my lips crashed into hers. Her eyes widened in shock before she melted into the kiss. She started moving her lips with mine and it felt almost as if I was kissing the love of my life all over again. I felt something wet on my cheeks and saw the clear, crystal tears streaming down her face. I pulled back and cupped her face, wiping away the tears with my thumbs.
"Hey, hey. Why are you crying sweetheart?" I asked gently.
She didn't say anything. I felt her warm cheek brush against my neck as she settled in the crook of it.
"W-why are you kissing a five year old little brat?" she asked quietly.
I chuckled picked her up bridal style, carrying her to my room. I set her in front of a full length mirror.
"Look at yourself..." I smiled.
She slowly turned around and gasped. She grew tremendously in height and her childlike features became more mature. Her usual bright red eyes turned a dark shade of maroon. Her lips became more full and she had the characteristics of a full grown woman. She no longer looked five. She looked twelve, just under my age. She gently touched her face and prominent jaw bone. Her eyes seemed to sparkle in delight.
"You broke the curse Alec. Thank you," she smiled and I swore that the angels in heaven just sung.
With that, she skipped out of the room, but not before she gave me a small peck on the lips. Such a tease.
Astacia's POV
How could this be? What a day it was. First, Alec turned from a bipolar freak to a gentle and loving gentleman. Then I confessed all my life secrets to him? And he kissed me? And then I grew?! I smiled at myself in the bathroom mirror and winked, knowing that I just fell in love with Alec.
Alec's POV
I stood there stunned before breaking into a big smile.
"She's a real looker isn't she?"
I whipped my head around to find the source of the voice.
"Who are you?" I hissed when I didn't find a trace of anyone.
"Forget me already brother?" she chuckled.
I looked closely in the direction of the voice before seeing a faint outline of Jane in the corner of my room.
"J-Jane?" I gasped, rubbing my eyes to make sure I wasn't making this up.
"Hello dear brother. It's been a while hasn't it?" she chuckled.
I ran quickly to hug her only to find that I went right through her.
"I'm just a ghost Alec. We can't make physical contact with the living world," she said sadly.
"I've missed you so much sister," I whispered.
"Me too brother. So. How is the new love of you life?" she teased, giving me a small wink.
"Shut up," I mumbled, looking away to hide the small blush on my face.
Suddenly, the door opened revealing Astacia.
"M-mom?"
I gave Jane an incredulous look.
"That's right. I may be known as Jane Volture here...but I'm called Jane Estandarte Briar Vatalie in the other world."
