After the festival Kuromi and Kamui walked into the forest while Kuromi was chewing on the delicious sticks of dango

"You look much happier than before...... did you have fun" Kamui said looking at Kuromi while wearing the white tiger mask on his face

"Yes I did...but...what I wanna know" Kuromi said as she jumped in front of him and looked up at him with a smile on her face "did you have fun" she said

Kamui looked down at the girl who was wearing the cat mask and pulled off her mask from her face "yes...it was quite enjoyable to say the least" Kamui said petting her head making Kuromi close her eyes and smile

Kuromi senses danger and so does Kamui as he pulled her into his arms to stop an arrow from hitting her but the arrow instead got caught in the fabric of Kamui's kimono

A couple of rogue demons came out from hiding Kuromi clings to Kamui as he held her protectively in his arms "what is your reasoning for such treason" Kamui said narrowing his eyes coldly

"You should have just eaten the sacrificial bride that's what they are meant for sacrifice we will never except a human as our queen" the first demon said

"Don't be absurd she is a halfling with just as much potential as a normal queen would" Kamui said clenching his fists tightly

"We'll never accept her kill her now and we'll think about sparing your life my liege" the second demon said this only seemed to anger Kamui even deeper

"Kuromi close your eyes..." Kamui said "but..." Kuromi said as Kamui turned to face her "I know your worried...but right now it's better to close your eyes and cover your ears" Kamui said softly

Kuromi nodded at his words then closed her eyes and covered her ears "what good will that do" the first demon said mockingly

"This is ridiculous shoot them" the second demon said as the first demon shot an arrow at Kamui only for him to catch it with his hand

"Honestly just how feeble minded are demons nowadays it seems like I'm going to have to personally deal with this myself" Kamui said

Kamui's eyes turned blood red in anger and he summoned a banishing sword from thin air "t.that sword I thought it was just a myth" the first demon said

"Fools...my family has had this vessel for years you will never defeat the likes of me with your second rate abilities" Kamui said darkly

"What how dare you say that let's get him" the second demon said as Kamui sliced through both of the rogue demons blood splashed onto Kamui's face

The demons were dead on the ground "how pathetic they couldn't even land a hit on me" Kamui said as he wiped the blood off his face with his sleeve

Kamui stared at the corpses with disgust as he made hell fire so he could burn the corpses of the demons staring at the Flames as it burned away the flesh and bone the fire soon disappeared

He made the banishing sword disappear and turned around to see if Kuromi got injured he slowly pulled her hands away from her ears

Kamui whispered softly in her ear "you can open your eyes now" Kuromi slowly fluttered her eyes open and looked at Kamui

"Is it over?" Kuromi said "yes...it's over" Kamui said as he pulled Kuromi into a hug making her blush immensely "um..." Kuromi said blushing

Kamui surprised her by picking her up bridal style "K.k.kamui" Kuromi stuttered looking at him with a red flushed face

"We're going home" Kamui said as he walked up the mountain while carrying Kuromi and she held onto him by wrapping her arms around his neck

"You really are as light as a feather are you sure you've been eating" Kamui said looking at Kuromi making her red in embarrassment

"Please don't tease me like this" Kuromi said as Kamui carried her up the mountain a rare smile on his face as if he had teased her

Kamui brought her to her room and set her down gently "I am sorry we ran into trouble on the way home" Kamui apologized

"N.no it's not your fault don't go saying stuff like that" Kuromi said as she looked at him crying this startled Kamui slightly

Kamui slowly wiped away her tears with his sleeve and picked her chin up "don't go crying for such things you must be brave" Kamui said caressing her cheek

"Ok" Kuromi said as she leaned her head against his chest wanting comfort from him this once again caught Kamui off guard but he didn't mind

Kamui gently pets Kuromi's head as she leaned against his chest 'I'm so glad I got to save her in time' Kamui thought to himself as he embraced her

Kamui felt his heart pounding in his chest and he looked down at her face blushing slightly

'If she knew what I was feeling right now...would she let me embrace her again...' Kamui thought to himself as he closed his eyes and hugged her Kuromi heard a ding

"N.no not at all actually I was just about to go to bed...good night Kamui..I mean my liege" Kuromi said as she quickly ran into her room and shut the door in embarrassment

Kamui felt annoyed and looked towards Wulfen glaring at him "why do you look like you want to kill me" Wulfen said nervously

"How do you interrupt me and my bride...I should kill you for doing so" Kamui said as Wulfen shivered "now now let's remain calm" Wulfen said

Then Kamui had a thought "by the way where did you wander off to I don't suppose you were slacking off were you" Kamui said

Wulfen turned beet red "ah that...I was... uh...I'll tell you another time" Wulfen said rubbing his neck in embarrassment

"On second thought I don't think I want to know" Kamui said getting the picture "your not even the slightest bit curious" Wulfen said "spare me the details" Kamui said feeling annoyed

Kamui went to his room to change into something more comfortable he stared down at his hand that was holding Kuromi so lovingly and he smiled slightly to himself...
