Friday, October 1st
I wake up early this morning and look at the clock.

5:30 AM

Good, I still have an hour to get before I have to leave. It has been 4 full days since I've moved back to Addersfield, and it's been great. I started to hang out more with Naomi and her tight-knit group.

They accepted me with open arms, and i've grown closer to them. Arya is a sweetheart, and I found she's loaded, her own a really successful real estate firm just outside of town.

Noah is hilarious, even though most times he's not even trying. He's always saying something slick or cocky that makes the group giggle. He's really confident in himself, which I admire. He knows his worth but doesn't make a big deal out of it unless he's joking. This is most likely because Imani is always there to humble him. And then there's him...

Issac Avery

The man who so quickly had created a permanent spot on my mind. Ever since Monday, when he drove me home, he'd find some way to enter my life. At least I think that's what's happening. I've never been the best at reading signs from guys, I always let my personal feelings towards them project how I think they see me.But then again, maybe

"PRINCESSA!"

I'm pulled out of my thoughts from my mothers loud screaming. I get out of bed and put on my slippers rushing downstairs.

"Yes, mami, que de pasa?"

I look to see my parents standing at the kitchen island. My father, a tall dark skin man with short black hair, drinking coffee with a stern face, while my mother, a short Puerto Rican woman with long wavy brown hair, was sitting with a smug smirk one her face.

I was close with both of them in different ways. My mother and father were always complete opposites. My mother was energetic fun loving woman. You'd always catch her dancing or singing around the house. She's the reason i'm so extroverted, why I started dance, and why i'm confident. She always made sure I knew who I was and what I wanted.

My father, on the other hand, was much calming. Always sitting down to read or watching something on the television. I remember waking early every Sunday morning to sit with him to watch old cartoons. I miss it. Every since we moved away, we haven't. Now that we're back, maybe we could start again.

"Celeste," my father said sternly.

"Who is that little white boy standing outside my door at 5 in the morning?"

I stood there shocked. What is he talking about? I didn't invite anyone over. I'm not even dressed.I walk over to the door and peek through the peephole. Through it, I see no other than Issac Avery. The same man who, not only 5 minutes ago, was on my mind. Maybe I summoned him here with my thoughts. OOO, i could be a witch. I mean, I am black and boricua. It's quite literally in my blood. I snap out of it and open the door.

I'm greeted with his pearly white smile. God, he's perfect. After a few seconds of just looking at each other, I clear my throat to speak.

"Cute pajamas," He says with a wide grin. I blush and look down at my green and black Minecraft creeper pj pants that I got last year for Christmas.
