Celeste

It took a while for me to get ready. My mom had called my name to tell me that Issac was downstairs already waiting. We took pictures and left, and my dad had a grumpy expression on his face.

"Your dad doesn't seem to like me," Issac says as we get into his car. "He doesn't like any guy I go out with" I reply with a sympathetic smile.

As we head to school in the car, we create a vibrant atmosphere by playing our favorite tunes and talking enthusiastically throughout the entire ride. We mostly talked about school and how excited we were for homecoming now that it was here.

We arrived at our school in less than 15 minutes. After finding a parking spot, we headed to the entrance of the gymnasium. When we got there, we showed our tickets to the attendant and went inside.

As I stepped inside, I was hit by a wave of nervousness as I took in the sight of the crowded room, filled with many people.

The gymnasium buzzed with excitement, its walls were decorated with streamers and twinkling fairy lights. The scent of nervous anticipation hung in the air.

The student council had worked tirelessly to transform the gym into how wonderful it looks. It was now 7:08.

The theme for this year's event was "Starry Night," if I remember correctly. The ceiling was adorned with a display of intricately crafted cardboard constellations, and each constellation was meticulously cut out by the talented members of the art club. The overall effect was truly enchanting and had a mesmerizing quality to it.

"OH MY GOD CELESTE YOU LOOK GORG," Naomi declares smiling.

" Thanks" I reply. " You look beautiful as well"

Naomi's dress was absolutely stunning. She was dressed in a gorgeous black gown adorned with shimmering sparkles that gracefully illuminated in the light. Her hair was perfectly tied, adding to her stunning appearance.

She looked cute with Austin, who was impeccably dressed in a sleek black suit that beautifully complemented her dress.

As time ticked by, the seconds turned into minutes and soon all of our dear friends had arrived. The atmosphere was filled with joyous laughter as we engaged in lively conversations, danced with carefree abandon, and relished each other's company. We savored every moment, creating cherished memories that would stay with us forever.

As the first slow dance began, couples paired off. Naomi and Austin went off together. Their smiles were genuine, their eyes locked on each other.

Issac starts pulling me to where everyone is dancing. He leans into my ear" I forgot to tell you how much I love that dress on you" I smile up at him.

Isaac grinned in return, his boyish smile lighting up his face. It's hard not to adore him; he's such a sweet and genuine guy.

It's impossible not to be charmed by him; he exudes kindness. I like the way he carries himself with such confidence and the meticulous attention to detail he puts into styling his hair. He truly exudes an aura of perfection.

As the melody filled the air, we instinctively came together, our bodies moving in sync with the music. The gentle sway and the perfect rhythm created an enchanting harmony between us. My hands found their place on his shoulders, while he gently held my waist.
