i will never forget
the times that you
were my favorite bookthe one i enjoyed
reading every page.i said you were
my favorite bookthe one i could
never put downbut every book
has a story,every book has
a revelation,every book has
an ending.right before we departed
i also said that i
will just be turning pages;turning to the chapters wherein
you're not present anymoreyet i realized,
"why would i be turning pages
when there's no pages left to turn?"there was a long pause,
silence succumb as
i'm lost with my own thoughts.as i stare at the oblivion,
i start processing; to acceptmy willingness to close
not only the chaptersbut our the story;
to close the whole book instead.
