"Thanks for dinner Mikey." Maddie smiled as she walked me into her apartment, "Your welcome beautiful." I grinned and pecked her lips. "Wanna stay and watch a movie?" She asked and I nodded, "Do you like horror movies?" She asked. "I guess." I mumbled as I sat down on the couch. "Oh! Have you seen Elm Street?" She asked and I felt my stomach muscles clench, "N-no." I muttered and she put the movie in, then sitting next to me. "Will you protect me if I'm scared?" She chuckled, "You may be the one protecting me." I laughed nervously as the movie started. I bit my lip from being nervous for any gory scenes, feeling my tummy clench as blood spilled out of a person's body and all over the floor, then gagging softly as Freddy Krueger started cutting their skin apart. "Mikey, you okay?" Maddie asked and I shook my head, she sat up and sickness rose up my throat, I jumped up and ran to the bathroom, vomiting into the toilet bowl. I felt Maddie come and rub my back as I continued gagging and puking, the scene of the movie playing in my head over and over, making me get sicker. "What's wrong with you?" Maddie asked, "I'm sorry, I should've told you." I coughed, "Told me what?" She asked in worry. "I have a weak stomach, blame Freddy Krueger for this." I sighed as I laid on the tile floor, "Babe, I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have put it on." Maddie cooed and helped me sit up. "I didn't tell you, it's fine." I mumbled and stood up, "I'll change the movie, Frozen good for you?" She smirked and I chuckled, she went downstairs and I followed her, but going into the kitchen and getting water. "Frozen is on now." She called and I walked into the living room, plopping myself down on the couch and Maddie cuddling into my side. "Now I know my movie plans for the Halloween party is a no-go." She laughed, "What were you gonna play?" I asked. "Saw." She stated and I cringed, "Yeah.....no." I chuckled and played with her hair. "Just watch Frozen." She smiled and I kept my focus on the TV, then about halfway through the movie; I heard a quiet snore. I looked down and saw Maddie had fallen asleep, I scooped her up and went into her room, laying her in her bed and kissing her forehead before laying next to her and pulling her smaller frame to my chest, playing with her hair until I fell asleep.
