5sos was performing for BBC Radio 1, it was their 2nd song and as they started playing, Michael was talking with Nick Grimshaw and he mentally cursed when the beat had started, the blonde quickly high five and walked to his spot, catching Rita Ora's attention and he gave her a smug look as kept walking, not noticing that he was at the end of the stage and he fell straight into the small pit in the middle, landing funny on his ankle and he bit back a scream as a shooting pain rushed up his right leg. He could feel Luke's worried eyes on him and a security guard helped him on his feet, "You okay Michael?" The man asked and Michael nodded, "Just a twisted it a bit." Michael lied and limped back onstage, performing despite the excruciating pains shooting through his ankle. After the performance, Michael limped backstage and sat on the couch, holding his ankle and grunted in pain. "You okay Mikey? You look really hurt." Calum asked and Michael nodded, "I'm good, just a little sore is all." Michael smiled and got up, biting back a scream of pain. "Are you sure Mike?" Luke asked and Michael nodded, not wanting to worry his bandmates as it probably wasn't as bad as they thought it was, Michael thought it was just a bad sprain or something. "We should probably get some ice on your ankle." Ashton muttered and Michael nodded, the curly haired lad scooping Michael up in his arms and the blonde let him do so, not wanting to walk on his aching ankle. "Dude, that looks really swollen." Calum mumbled as they got home, "Just a bit of swelling Cal." Michael mumbled as Ashton set him down on the couch and Luke wrapped an ice pack around his swollen ankle, "Fine." Calum huffed and Michael laid down, propping his leg up on a pillow that Ashton put under his leg, "I'm just gonna rest a bit." Michael mumbled and closed his eyes, feeling someone running their fingers through his dyed hair and he smiled a bit, falling asleep slowly and trying to ignore the extreme pains in his ankle. He woke up to hearing Calum and Luke shouting at the TV, turning his head and seeing them playing FIFA, "Hey sleeping beauty. " Ashton chuckled and Michael smiled, "How's your leg?" He asked, "Sore still." Michael mumbled and sat up, trying to stand up and not able to hold back the cry of pain as he put too much pressure on his ankle, making him fall back onto the couch and his bandmates stopped what they were doing, rushing over to Michael. "Mike, what hurts?" Ashton asked, "Nothing, my ankle is still sore, I'm fine." Michael mumbled and tried again, almost falling over and Ashton caught him. "We're going to the doctor right now." Ashton stated and Michael nodded, starting to cry in pain from how badly it was hurting. "Oh Mikey don't cry, it'll be okay soon." Luke cooed as he wiped the blonde boy's tears, "I'm s-sorry." Michael whimpered out as they took him inside the hospital, "Don't worry about it honey, it's okay now." Ashton cooed and a doctor examined Michael's swollen ankle, hissing as she kept moving it. "Sorry sweetheart, looks like you've got a bad break here. You can't put any weight on it for about 2 months." She mumbled as she slowly began taking off Michael's shoe and sock, wrapping his foot up in pink casting material. "I'm sorry for being a clutzy dumbass." Michael mumbled as he used his crutches to get to the car, "You're not a dumbass, just a clutz." Calum chuckled and Michael smiled, "Maybe wrapping Mikey in bubble wrap won't be such a bad idea." Luke shrugged and Michael almost hit him with his crutches for being a smart ass.
