Narrative POV:
After the big fight with Jack, Ronnie took her siblings to her grandma’s and Cole and Ronnie went to his mom's house
Celia was her name she was african american, and she had beautiful blue eyes
Surprisingly, she was very happy to see Cole
“Cole?” A woman's voice said
“Hi Mama, I'm home” Cole said. Then celia slowly walked up to Cole, and she put her hands on his face, and her eyes began to water
“Oh Cole, I thought I lost you too, I miss you, my son” Then Celia hugged Cole tight and started to cry softly
“Hello Veronica, you look so beautiful”
“Hi Ms. Celia, It's been awhile” Ronnie replied
“Yes, yes it has, please come in and make yourselves at home, are you kids hungry?” Celia asked
“No me and Ronnie are just gonna hang out in the living room” Cole said
“That's okay, I have to go to work, but I'll see you guys at dinner”
Then Ms. Celia left, and Cole and Ronnie were by themselves . They just talked and tried to fix their relationship, and Ronnie finally forgave Cole. Even though she still felt angry with him she forgave him
After a few hours, it was 8:30 pm, and Ms.celia had a call to let Cole know she wasn't gonna make it for dinner
Then Emmett called Ronnie
(THE PHONE CALL)
Emmett: Hey Ronnie, there's a party at Baileys house, yal wanna go?
Ronnie: I don't know, who's all going?
Emmett: A lot of people and lila and the others are going
Ronnie: Okay, I don't know
Emmett: Well, hurry and make your mind up
Ronnie: Okay, I'll call you later
Emmett: Okay, bye weirdo
(END OF CALL)
“Who was that?” Cole asked
“It was Emmett there's a party at bailey's and emmett wants us to go”
“Well, do you?” Cole asked
“Yeah I guess it would be nice to go and let all this stress go”
“Okay let's go then” Cole said
So they did. Once they got there, Cole gave Ronnie his big jean jacket, so Ronnie body wouldn't be showing
Ronnie was wearing a long sleeve black crop top and wore skinny jeans with black construction boots
Once they went inside, the whole place was packed
From the minute they arrived, Ronnie was aching to leave
She hadn't been to a high school party in a year, she couldn't remember the feeling of having fun as a teenager
After an hour of being there, Cole was ready to leave, too
Ronnie POV:
“Hey, wanna get out of here?” Cole asked
“Definitely please” i desperately replied
So we left, and Cole decided to drive to an empty park. It was the same park where Cindy had died
“So I didn't see Ray at this party. Whatever happened to him?” Cole asked
“He left Chicago a few months after you left, his dad's got promoted, and they transferred him to Las Vegas” i explained
Cole and i talked till 2am
“So why did you all quit school, yal were supposed to stay” Cole said
“I don't know, I mean after you left something snapped in us all so we all just started to go our own way and just started to distance ourselves from each other, Bones has gotten beaten up pretty bad over the last couple of months, alex has been getting in trouble with the cops, emmett and deedee have an on and off again relationship, and lila just hasn't really been her natural crazy loving self, and I just got more violent, angry and bitter over the years”
