"Fine, fine" he groaned getting up.

He put on his shoes and a shirt, running his right hand through his hair.

"Now where are we going exactly?" he asked looking for his keys.

"You'll see." I smiled.
I planned on going to the cliff because it's a good place to just think and I wanted him to see it.

I quickly threw on a hoodie and grabbed Sam's hand, leading him to the car.

"I'm driving" I said with a smirk grabbing his keys from him, and getting in the driver's seat.

As we drove, he reached over and grabbed one of my hands, softly holding it. I looked up at him and smiled.

A few minutes later we pulled up. We saw an unfamiliar car parked close by but I didn't think much of it.

I took him up the thin dirt path that lead to the cliff.

As we came to the end of the path, we saw a couple wrapped up in each other's arms sitting on the edge.

That's weird, no one even knows there's a cliff up here. As we got closer I heard an all too familiar voice.

"I love you." I heard Nate say.

It was Nate and Avery. Of fucking course.

I was beyond pissed. This was MY cliff, MY place to go with MY best friend.
Fucking damn, This is great.

I shook my head and grabbed Sammy's hand turning around and walking back to the car.

"What's wrong?" he asked turning my face towards his.

"Nothing. Everything's fine." I said starting to drive away.

"Are you sure?" he asked and I nodded.

"You're hot when you're mad" He smirked and I couldn't help but let out a slight laugh earning a wide smile from him.

Sam, you really know how to make a girl like you.

We pulled back up to the house and we got ready to go to sleep. He pulled me down as he laid on the bed and I fell beside him.

"Goodnight my cutie." He said holding me tighter.

"Goodnight Sammy."

I woke up to Sammy walking in, in only a towel.

"Mornin' babe." he smiled.
I just smiled and stretched making various noises.

"I need to get a new phone today, wanna come with me?" I asked and he nodded.

"Just let me know when you're ready"

"Mhm"

I sat up and walked to go shower and change.
I ended up changing into light washed, high waisted, skinny jeans, and a pink Malibu crop top and threw on Metallic disk gladiator sandals in brown. I applied mascara and brushed through my hair leaving it natural.

I walked downstairs and saw Sammy and Nate talking.

"Oh hey, cutie are you busy today? Avery had to go shopping with her sister so we could hang out today if you want?" Nate asked me.

I barely looked at him, and responded, "I'm hanging out with Sammy today." I simply said sitting down, and looking at my phone.

His slight smile turned into a frown.
"O-Oh..Okay. I guess we can hang out some other time." He said sounding hurt. I didn't care if he was hurt at this point, Well I did but I didn't want to show it because he hurt me so I don't want to care. But unfortunately, I'm hopelessly in love with the dumb ass.

I looked at him with no emotion and nodded looking back down.

"We should go." I said to Sammy.
Before he could respond, I started walking to the car.

He soon got in and we drove to Verizon.

*About a few hours later*

We were currently at a park, laughing about a story Sam had told me. Yes, I got my new phone, Hollaaa. I got a gold iphone 6 and got a new number and everything.

"Wanna head back?" He asked and I nodded smiling at him.

He bent down in front of me.

"What are you doing boy?" I asked confused.

"Get on." He simply said. I shrugged and jumped on his back as he carried me to the car.

We drove home after a fun ass day.
Walking in, Nate was sitting on the couch by himself. I felt bad, but I didn't want to give him the satisfaction. But I did want my best friend back. I wanted Nate back. But with Avery in the picture, she was his priority I guess.

I sat down next to him on the couch and started setting up my new phone as Sam walked upstairs.

"I tried texting you." He said quietly.

"I got a new phone" I said bluntly.

"Oh, I never got your new number." he said sounding kind of upset.

"Must've forgot."

"Right." he said quietly looking down.

"I'm sorry I didn't make it last night, I ended up falling asleep." he said. If I didn't literally catch him, i probably would've believed him.

"That's actually really funny considering, I saw you with Avery at MY special place. The nerve you had to blow me off and bring your fucking girlfriend to MY spot." I said pissed off.

"How did you know that?" he asked confused.

"Because I went with Sammy because you never showed up." I said annoyed.

"So you took Sammy on one of our late night drives?" He asked now sounding pissed as well.

"Hell yeah I did. But guess what Nate, it's your fault and what you did was worse so stop trying to turn this shit on me!" I yelled.

"You're my best friend, and you're trying to replace me with Sammy!" he yelled.

"Nate, that's the last thing I wanted to do but before you say that to me, please check yourself and take a quick look at your priorities. We haven't hung out since before Avery. If anything, she's replacing me so don't give me that bullshit." I said quietly but sternly before walking up the stairs.
