⚠️TW: mentions of blood and death

Fear is one of the most hated emotion.

Darkness consumed his vision, turning everything upside down as a sudden scream echoed through the nothingness. It jolted the boy who was still trapped in his slumber.

No matter how hard he tried to escape, the trauma never left him. It refused to leave him alone.

It kept haunting him every single day.

In his dream, Jisung heard a woman's cry of help, it was desperate, devastated.

The boy panicked when a painful screech silenced the air, followed by a loud thump of a body coming in contact with a vehicle.

There, Jisung could see the image he despised. The woman laid on the ground where her limbs rested, looking lifeless as ever.

Blood was scattered everywhere. All he could see was red.

"Jisung, dear..." The boy took a step back when he heard a voice.

"Mom?" He turned everywhere to seek for the owner of the voice, but the woman was nowhere in sight.

Tears were starting to well, his breathing rate quickened in a matter of seconds as the nightmare continued to replay.

"Mom!"

Another scream echoed through the gloominess.

That was the last straw for Jisung to escape from that spine-chilling dream.

It was enough to make the frightened male jolt awake, the poor boy sat on the bed, eyes darting around the bedroom warily.

His face was sweaty, the discomfort feeling wasn't helping with his rising anxiety at all.

Bringing his hands to pull at his hair, Jisung sighed. Even though he had awakened, he was not a single bit relieved.

The dream felt so real. Ever since that day where Jisung and his mother got into a terrible car accident, the nightmare never stopped reminding him of it.

Jisung's stomach was starting to hurt due to the panic attack, he was struggling to even breathe at this rate.

The male was too focused on rethinking back on that dream that he seemed to not sense the movement beside him.

Minho, who was caught in a deep sleep, managed to stir from the big movement of Jisung just now. At first he was ready to head back to sleep, but the second he heard the unsteady breaths coming from his boyfriend, his concern got rid of the sleepiness.

The brunette rubbed his heavy eyelids, immediately shooting up to get a closer look, only to meet with a pale Jisung.

The latter's lips were trembling, same goes to his fingers. With messy bed hair that fluffed in every direction, he was in pain.

Without a second thought, Minho placed his hands on Jisung's shoulders as he looked into the other's eyes.

"Ji," He called out, taking note that the younger was probably still dealing with too much to even notice him.

Minho moved to cup both his hands on his boyfriend's cheeks, which was slowly making Jisung snap out of his trance. But it wasn't effective enough for him to stop panicking.

"Ji," Minho was determined to help. "You're okay baby, you're safe here." He wiped off the trails of sweat from the sides of Jisung's face gently.

The worried male pulled Jisung in closer until he could feel the warm breath from the other's lips.
