As soon as her body hit the water I dived in to save her. I began swimming to her sinking body and took her into my arms right back out of the dark waters. I placed two fingers over the thin skin on her neck to feel her pulse, and it was still there. Beating strong and loud, she was a fighter and always a fighter.

I looked at her pale face thinking about what to do next. The first thing that came to my mind was CPR, so I took her to the top of the cliff, which was where we jumped from. There was a soft patch of grass there in which I rested her body over it and grabbed my bag to use as a head rest for her. She laid there unconscious and I began CPR.

Finally when I finished with it she was coughing up some water from the lake. I needed to get her help as soon as possible since there was blood on the back of her head and her forehead.

"Bella you are okay!" I got her some clothes and she put it on, still shivering a bit. She quickly put them on and laid down again.

Just as I was about to pick her up and take her to the car I heard some rustling coming from a large bush directly in front of the rock we were next to. "*Cazzo!*" I grunted since I knew that there was likely someone watching us. *Fuck*

I quickly ran behind the rock Bella was next to and dragged her behind it as well, while simultaneously sliding a knife into her pocket just in case something were to happen.

I slid my pants back on so that I could hide the pistol I was carrying in my pocket. Once I cocked the gun I was about to get out of the bush when Bella sat up right gaining full conscious again. She was about to speak when I placed a firm hand on her mouth stopping her from talking.

She struggled at first and resisted, but eventually gave up on fighting me. I placed my index finger over my mouth to show her to be quiet and she finally got the message.

I stood up from behind the rock and walked around the open space of the cliff. "So... what brings you here?" I began speaking to nothingness as I slowly paced around the area, knowing the person hiding was hearing me.

"If you are here to kill me feel free to try! I don't mind really." I spoke again and the rustling stopped.

"Fucking test me coward! Come on and show your self, or do you feel like playing hide and seek?" I placed a hand in my pocket discreetly gripping onto the pistol and waiting for the person to show up.

"You know what... you are kind of interrupting a moment here and I don't have time for games so... let me just end this bull shit for once shall we?" I spoke and turned around to see Bellas face peaking out from behind the rock.

Her eyes wide with surprise. "Alright, alright fine you caught me!" Ryan came out from the bushes a man I had grown up despising, he was not a threat, but he was related to my boss and was a violent vindictive psychopath.

"Ryan what a pleasure to see you... old friend." I spoke with a cold tone, being a bit sarcastic at the same time. Gladly he hadn't spotted Bella so I took it as an opportunity.

Soon Ryan pulled a gun out of his pocket and I decided to keep mine in as I knew taking him by surprise would be better. Unfortunately I was not able to kill him because if I ever were to lay a finger on him his family would likely kill me.

"Ryan?" Bella came out from behind the rock with shock written in every corner of her face. "What are you doing here?" She asked as if she knew him. "Do you know him?" I asked seriously. "Yes, he... is a friend I met a while ago." A guilty expression crossed her face.

And with that I knew that she was hiding something. I felt shocked and a bit hurt. "And you know her?" Ryan asked with a softer look.

"Ryan don't hurt him please! He is my..." She was about to pause, but I completed her sentence. "Boyfriend." I growled hopping to piss him off, even though I knew he had the potential to kill me and there was nothing that I could do about it.
