"You start tomorrow..."

I was worried for my first day on the job. I just had to focus on my mission and not get distracted!- I always ask him for help instead of asking my co-workers. But I can tell he's getting annoyed so that wasn't working at all. I need to find another plan to get closer to him

I tried giving him chocolates but he said he didn't like sweets so I tried giving him a plushy/stuff animal with red roses but the next day I find it in the trash. I had been doing very well at my job hoping hoping maybe that would do something but he just looks the other way. So I tried inviting him to places but he always says he's busy. It's been 2 weeks and nothing changed. I have a month to get this done!

I was helping a customer but I made a huge mistake and was called to my boss office. So I slowly made my way onto his office. Clearing my throat when I entered, I thought I was gonna get fired

"Cross, I'm sure you know why I called you in here..."

"That was my Mistake sir.. I promise to make it up to you! I really needed this job" I actually didn't really did this job I just needed to get closer to him.

"I'll give you a second chance. But I don't really care for that.. There's another reason why I called you here"

I was confused "What is it sir?"

"Well you see.. I need a date"

That got me even more confused. Is he asking me on a date? Is this his way on asking people on a date?

"Don't get the wrong idea. It's just my brother invited me to go have dinner but I have to bring someone..."

This was perfect! I can get closer to him this way! "Sure! When is it?"

"Tonight.. I'll pick you up at 6. Just send me your address"

I nodded "is that all sir?"

"Yes.. You may go back to work"

I left his office. I felt excited but I wasn't sure why, I mean It's probably because he's been cold hearted but whatever after my shift ended I drove back at my house and got ready. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to dress up fancy but I was gonna be with my boss so I wear a suit. I sent him my address and went to grab my wallet and everything I needed.

I wasn't sure if I should bring anything for him but I'm sure he's gonna throw it away soon the doorbell rings I quickly opened the door and there he was! He was holding a bouquet of white roses and handed it to me

"Here.. For you"
I was shocked. I was blushing a little and took the bouquet "Thanks-" I sniff it a little and it smells nice, I couldn't help but smiled. My boss handed out his hand and was loooking away from me but I took his hand and we headed to his car and when we arrived at the restaurant

There was Dream and Swap. I only knew them because I was looking for information on Nightmare and found out Dream was Nightmare's brother, I heard a lot of good things about Dream and as for swap I just found out Dream was dating him so that's how I knew him! We three met before and they treated me with kindness I guess I can say we are good friends.

"✷Oh Brother I'm surprised you both knew each other!- Nice to see you again Cross!✸"

Nightmare turned over to me confused "y'all met before?." I nodded and Nightmare glance back at Dream "Well I guess this makes it more easier" we headed inside and got a table.
