Fan POV

Sunday seemed to flow by, as usual, and now it was Monday once again. I'm sooo tired right now. I feel like I'm gonna pass outtt.

I walked into homeroom and sat down at my desk. Might as well update my blog about this. That might make me feel better..

"What's up, Flat Face!" I looked up and saw Lightbulb. "Hi Lightbulb." "Jeez, what happened to you? You look horrible."

She sat down next to me and played with her bracelets. "Thanks.." "Anyways- I got my braces on! Do they look cool?"

Lightbulb smiled widely to reveal her neon green, yellow, pink, and blue colored braces. I looked at her deadpanned and shook my head. "You look like a nerd."

"You can't talk! You're a nerd AND a geek AND a weirdo AND a loser AND single!!" "Didn't need the list of insults but whatever."

I laid my head on the table and sighed. "What stick went up your butt, Fanny?" "Just fucking curse, Lightbulb." "I was raised not to! Now tell me what's up."

"I've been having these.. weird dreams for like 3 nights in a row." "Are they scary?" She asked, tilting her head a little. "No.. but it's like.. I don't know how to explain this."

"Well, what was your dream last night? Do you remember?" "Yeah, I can tell you.."

-

I woke up back where I was the night before. I sat up and stretched. These dreams make me feel sooo tired..

I stood up and looked around for Test Tube and I spotted them scribbling stuff on the whiteboard.

"Uh, hi Test Tube." "Oh, hello Fan," He said, turning around. "I thought you wouldn't be here for another 5 minutes. You sleep kinda late."

She already knows my sleep schedule? Weird. Maybe xey just know how time passes in here. I mean, it has been here for a couple months..

"So, uh, what are you doing?" I asked, walking up to the whiteboard. "I was trying to study why the flowers popped out of nowhere."

I looked at the whiteboard and squinted. I could barely read anything on it. Looks like they have the handwriting of a doctor. "..What does it say?"

"It says, and I quote, 'The angiosperms that sprouted out of the grassland in our brain, have to do with our affective states. It seems to be unclear on how these cauliflorus evolved'."

I looked at them confused before they groaned. "It means that the flowers have something to do with some type of emotion we're having. I don't know what emotion that is or why this is happening."

"Ohhhhh. Now I get it." "Mhm. Anyway, I need an assistant right now. Come help me." I nodded as he passed me a marker.

She turned the whiteboard around and wrote something in actual legible handwriting. It said 'Ideas' and it was underlined. "We still need to figure out why we come here every night."

"Oh yeah, good point." I said, uncapping my marker. "Okay let's brainstorm a little bit."

-

"And then we talked about some theories and stuff. Do you know anything about this?" I looked back at Lightbulb and jumped slightly. She was staring right at me.

"Uh... Lightbulb??" She blinked and seemed to snap out of her small trance. "Oh, I zoned out a bit at the end of your sentence." I groaned and rubbed my eyes.
