Alike but so different

part 4

It was 5pm now and i was getting ready to go to my mums house because i wanted to see my younger sister, ella, she was 3 years old.

I kept the same outfit but touched up my make up, sprayed my favourite perfume and getting a little bag putting my cigarettes in,spray,my phone and my keys.

I walked downstairs saying bye to loralie and rory before getting in my car and driving to lukes. I parked outside and walked in sitting at the counter.

Luke came over and jess was leaning against the counter that has all the coffee machines and toasters on it.

"what can i get you?"-luke
"2 coffees to go"
"yep"-luke

He got two coffee cups out and started making the coffee and jess came over leaning on the counter looking at me.

"what do you need two to go coffees for?"-jess
"getting ready to go to my mums"
"and you need two coffees?"-jess
"i need alot of coffees to deal with her. and im going to a party after"
"cool"-jess said leaning onto the back counter again.

Luke comes over and puts my coffee down.
"can jess go? he needs to socialise more"-luke
"if he wants"
"why not. But if i come home drunk luke its your fault for signing me up to this party"-jess
"yeah yeah"-luke
"come on we gotta go"
"let me get my coat"-jess

He goes behind the curtian and i hear him running up the stairs. I notice luke looking at me weirdly.

"yeah?"
"you and jess would be good together"-luke
"dont even"

Luke went to say something but jess saved me. again. He came out and we both said bye to look before going out and getting in my car. We rolled the windows and started smoking aswell.

"so where does your mum live?"-jess
"hartford"
"ohhh"-jess
"mhm"
"why you going to see her?"-jess
"my sister, ella"
"oh"-jess

I nod and keep driving, i end up giving him one of my coffees. I knew he was only coming for the party but now hes got to meet my mum.

After a half hour drive we got there. We both got out and knocked, my mum answered not long after letting us in and as soon as we'd walked in my sister ella ran up to me. I picked her up and kissed her head.

"hey baby"
"shes missed you"-mum
"well if you didnt send me away she wouldnt have to. Mum this is jess, jess this is my mum"

Jess nodded and my mum just looked at him.

"another boyfriend?"-mum
"no and i dont know why your saying another like im some slag"
"well there was zach"-mum
"yeah zach. Thats it"

I walked through to the living room still carrying ella and my mum and jess followed behind me. Jess sat next to me and my mum sat across from us.

I started playing toys with ella and she was laughing and smiling and i realised how much i really have missed her in just a day. I looked to jess and realised he was staring at me. Okay then.

Jess's pov.

When we got in lottie already seemed of with her mum i could tell they didnt get along. We went through to the living room and lottie was playing with her sister ella. She had to be around 2 or 3. Lottie was so good with her thought it was actually quite cute.

I didnt realise i had been staring when she looked at me, i looked away once she had and she then told her mum about the party we're going to, her mum really didnt seem happy about her going to a party and they got into am arguement.

"we're not staying for long we've got places to be"
"like?"-mum
"a party"
"your not going to a party"-mum
"you dont get to control me now."

Me and my mum started to get into an arguement so i asked jess to just watch ella make sure she dont do anything stupid while me and my mum stood in the hallway argueing.

After a while she stormed into the living and i walked in, after kissing ellas head and saying bye.

"come on jess"
I walked out the house him following and we both got into my car. I put my hands on the steering wheel and dropped my head on top of them.

"you alright?"-jess
"yep."

I sat up unrolling my window and lighting a cigarette. I then started driving keeping quiet the whole time. We got to the party about 10 minutes later and went and knocked.

"yo come in"-my mate shayne answered.

Me and jess walked in and i straight away went to find the alcohol. I got a vodka and coke while jess got a beer.

I sat up on the counter drinking my drink while jess leaned against the counter next to me. We kind of just sat, or stood,  and observed everyone then the music started so i filled my drink up and went to watch.

Jess was stood next to me watching aswell and i looked at all the band players and realised one was my ex. Zach. great. He made eye contact with me and i turned round walking away. I topped my drink up again and went upstairs.

I walked into a random bedroom and sat on a chair in the corner of it. Not long after jess had came in.

"whyd you run of like that?"-jess
"my ex is down there. playing in the band"
"well he wont do nothing"-jess
"mhmmm"

Me and jess were both slurring our words and it was very obvious we was drunk. I stood up and stumbled a bit and jess held my waist for support, wasnt the best support though cause he was very drunk to.

I looked at him and he looked down at me and then kissed me. I kissed him back then realised what i was doing and pushed him away. I walked out and i heard him call my name from behind me but i ignored him walking down the stairs.

As i was walking, pretty quickly, i ran into someone. I mumbled a quick sorry then looked up and realised who it was.
