Aurora is a Fae who has been living in the countryside all his life. He laid on his bed that had animal fur and his cabin was in the middle of nowhere. It was far away from his kind. He liked it that way since the town never really accepted him since he wasn't like them.

You see his family line comes with money so prejudice wasn't an issue but his appearance was. Many Faes don't have tails but he was born with one and his family always pushed him since I was a defective breed. Luckily once I was a young adult his family gave many coins for him to be sent away. He didn't mind it all but it was hurtful to not be able to speak to his mother. He hasn't spoken to her since he was a child.

I was always not a likable child since I always wreaked havoc around my parent's home. Being a Fae we needed to be proper with our manners but I never bothered to learn them since they pushed me away. I often ate alone as a child and still do but I always kept my mind occupied with my studies and I was fascinated with are history.

I have no idea why I was fascinated but the subject of war was very interesting to me, especially of how my kind killed off an entire race called "human". A lot of records show that they didn't put off a fight since the size difference was very obvious.

The weapon they had was not efficient enough to cause us harm and it saddened him that many surrendered thinking they would be let go but instead, we killed them with our bare hands. Many children, women, and men were killed. The war was called the Blood Land. Since after we won many soldiers say the land was stained with human blood. The reason for the war was because we didn't want humans to exist. They did nothing to us and we killed them for nothing.

Many of my kind didn't think of this war as genocide since human lives were insignificant. No one will remember them. My grandfather fought in the war and he kept a few things from the war. An odd object I found in his collection was a small toy that possibly came from a human child. It was a brown bear. There was a white rose next to the toy. It was so small it was the size of my thumbnail. I asked him one time why he kept that doll. When I was a child and when he was alive.

"I kept this doll because this belonged to a child that I wanted to help...Aurora I need to tell you something" he said in a whisper to me as he knelt to my level.

"Don't become naïve and follow orders from everyone I made that mistake and I don't want you to follow in my footsteps, my boy. Respect everyone even if someone is not the same race" he said rubbing my cheeks as he gave me the child's toy. Later that summer he died from a severe illness. He was the only one that was kind to me.

I kept that child toy and thanks to my grandfather Rexth he gave me his land. That I live in today. In his cabin home away from his kind.

Aurora was writing on his note about his day until he noticed something outside his home. The changes of the season. Fall is here but winter is coming soon. He needed to prepare as soon as possible.

Aurora got off of bed and started getting dressed. He wore just a plain dark green tunic with some black pants with the same color boots. He also wore a cloak. He didn't bother hiding his tail since no one was nearby to give him some rude commits.

He walked about a mile to get to his shed and got an axe. Aurora knew he needed to cut more logs for the winter and start hunting soon. His kind was strong heck he could hunt a bear without fear since it's very difficult to kill are kind.
