[Life imitaes life] - [quannnic]

Last night, Sora found herself unable to sleep as she tossed and turned in her apartment, attempting to find comfort through journaling but to no avail.

"Jay Park," she murmured, recalling the name she had heard slipping into a few of Jaehyun's conversations.

Speculating on their apparent friendship, she wondered what prompted Jay not just to call her but to seek mental help.

It's no surprise that idols may grapple with mental health issues; however, she observed a pattern where they never directly approached her.

Instead, it was always a member of their family setting up appointments, possibly contributing to their reluctance to attend. She simply wished Jay wouldn't treat her as others have done.

she somehow despised idols she knew it's unfair of her to judge people based off a personal experience but the stuff that jaehyun tells her leaves her mouth hanging open ,but being in a field like hers such things should become normal to you.

There are all kinds of people in this world life isnt just black and white it's shades vary that's why she choose not to surround myself by celebrities, jaehyun doesnt either.

She is always welcomed by pity and melancolia thats why she wants to surround herself by people she likes well now that she thinks about it the people that she liked had at least one thing that made her uncomfortable should i even like them?

She slept aproximetly for 4 hours waking up to the sound of birds and the sun rays hitting her face.

She looked at herself in the mirror and notice the eyebags she already feels unconfident she thought wether to not to work out after all.

"ahhh you promised me you wouldnt go back to your old ways " she spoke to herself in the mirror like a maniac.

she wrote jay's name on a sticky note and hung it on her room's wall.

Once she was inside the clinic she proceed to arrange her stuff and opened her computer.

"Should I tell my secretary to create a file for him?" she put her finger under her chin in a way of contemplating whether to make a folder for jay but decided not to make one. " what the hell am i thinking who is to say he'd even attend the session."

At least not just yet. she closed the tab and went to another client's folder. "Let's see...who do we have a session with today?"

She clicked on the folder bearing her client's name, skimming through the record as her eyes briefly flickered to the small numbers in the right corner displaying the time.

"It's almost time for her ses-"

Her words were momentarily cut off by a knock on the door.

She ushered the person in, surprised to see her intern back; he couldn't come yesterday due to sickness.

With a warm smile, she asked, "Ah, you're back. How's your condition?"

He replied shyly, blushing, "Yeah, everything is good, miss. Did you miss me?"

She sensed his feelings but maintained a strict line between profession and emotions, choosing to ignore his question to avoid giving false hope.

He picked up on her focus and added, "Uh, Dani is here; she'll come in a second."

Good. She couldn't wait for this session with Dani, whose case was the most challenging she had ever dealt with, filled with unresolved issues dating back to childhood. The silver lining was Dani's determination to get better.

she enters the office and they both greet each other with a bow

The session unfolded, with Dani slowly revealing fragments of her past, Sora sensed there were layers Dani was reluctant to uncover.

As the session concluded, they exchanged polite goodbyes.

"Thank you for sharing today, Dani. Take care until our next session."

" You too, Sora. See you."

Sora couldn't shake the feeling that Dani was withholding crucial details.

Despite her worry, Sora resolved to be patient, believing in the eventual trust that would develop.

The weight of Dani's struggles left Sora feeling concerned, as if she were grappling with a darkness that seemed insurmountable.
