The very next day jay drove sora back to her place. He said he's going to pick her up by seven in the evening. she got back to her place around eleven in the morning so she had plenty of time to prepare.
In her preparation, it extended beyond simply applying makeup and styling her hair. She began browsing online articles covering the party scheduled for tonight.
The lists included prominent individuals, celebrities, and athletes. She anticipated a significant event, as foreign nationals were also among the invited guests.
She memorized their names and familiarized herself with them, unwilling to attend without prior knowledge. Feeling more at ease with a grasp of the situation, she decided to take a shower and get ready when it was nearly five in the evening.
Leaving her hair down with a slight curl, she opted for minimal makeup, avoiding the heaviness she disliked. However, she chose a red lipstick to contrast with her black dress.
Perhaps her lips were the only color standing out, as even her accessories were plain and not flashy.
She finished her outfit with a pair of black Versace Medusa heels and grabbed a black purse.
"Jay should be arriving any moment now," she mused, checking the time until her phone vibrated with a text message from Jay.
She put her phone back in her purse and headed outside her apartment complex. Jay was waiting outside his car, his jet-black hair neatly gelled to the side, strands falling on his face. He wore black formal attire that oddly complemented his casual look.
As the echo of her heels resonated on the ground, Jay turned to see her in the dress he purchased the day before. It almost seemed unfamiliar to him.
"Looking stunning in that," he remarked, pushing away from his car as she approached the passenger side. Jay stood before her, his hand gently lifting her chin.
"As you mentioned last night," she began. "All yours."
His arm enveloped her waist, drawing her closer. "If I kiss you right now, will your lipstick leave a stain on my lips?"
"Want to try and find out?"
He leaned in, their noses almost touching. "Damn, why do you have to look so damn sexy today?"
Closing the gap, he kissed her in a blend of gentleness and roughness, causing her to open her mouth as his tongue slipped in. After a few seconds, she leaned back, and her eyes traced down to his lips.
"I guess it did leave a stain," she remarked, walking past him and opening the door to step inside the passenger side.
Jay stood there, wiping the side of his lips and looking down to see the red stain. Meanwhile, she applied another layer of red lipstick, making her lips even redder than before – the sole burst of color in her ensemble.
When Jay entered the car, Sora couldn't help but glance at him, catching a glimpse of the love bite she left on him the previous night. Memories of the events from that night flashed through her mind.
Unlike wolf dogs, bound to their mates for life, she didn't desire any strings tying her down.
As long as they didn't grow weary of each other, the notion of 'I'm all yours and you're all mine' lingered in her thoughts.
Who knows, down the road, this purely physical relationship might transform into something more meaningful.
