I couldn't move an inch.

The assassin turned to look at me and he glared. "Stay outta this, kid. And keep your mouth shut." When the assassin turned to look at me, Lohan freed himself from his grasp and knocked him off his feet. "Ouch!" the assassin shouted. Lohan yanked the knife away from the assassin. "Hold him down for me?" Lohan asked kindly. I walked over and stood on the assassin. "Thanks."

Lohan went over and cut Zoe out of the ropes.

"Thanks, Lohan," she said. The second assassin must have thought we forgot about him, because he shot a missile at Lohan, but missed, hitting the first assassin. The first one went unconcious. Suddenly, Erica came from behind the second assassin, knocking him out.

Erica released Mike and went over to Chip and Jawa. She pulled out some smelling salts and put them under Jawa's and Chip's noses. Chip woke suddenly, throwing Jawa off his back and right into Lohan, who dogged again and let hit another tree.

"That's gotta hurt," Lohan said.

Jawa woke up as well, rubbing his back. "Ow..."

"What happened here?" Erica said, sounding a bit angry.

"It's a long story..." Lohan said awkwardly.

Erica pulled out a dagger from her belt. "Go ahead and tell it."

Everyone started pleading Erica to be nice with Lohan. "Don't beg, guys. I'm probably endangering you all anyway." Erica glared again at Lohan. He chuckled sheepishly and sighed.

"Before I came here, I worked for ERROR, or the Evil Ravagers of Really Odd Rangers," Lohan said. "Really Odd Ranger?" Zoe asked confused. "ERROR isn't that good at acronyms," Lohan explained. "Anyway, they hated SPYDER, and they tried to one-up them on various accounts. Like melting the ice caps or bombing this very school. So, they chose something so evil, SPYDER would thing it was too horrid to even think about." "Like..." Erica said impatiently. "Like performing experiments on humans. I had a friend who was transformed into this kind of alligator. I think they call him The Abomination Alligator. Anyway, one of the tests they did was called the 404 Serum. And I was the test subject." "Really?" Mike said, on the edge of his seat. "Yep," Lohan said, "When they injected it into me, I become some kind of...living computer virus. I could decode and encrypt stuff. I could make computers crash. It was great.

But soon, I was being hunted. ERROR got greedy and gloated about me to SPYDER, WONDER, THUNDER, LIGHTNING, and basically every single evil organization. They thought that if they took some of my blood, they could have some artificial energy.

Until some dumbo named Bruce Dooling came up with a theory that if they killed me, they could have unlimited power. So, every assassin on Earth is after my blood."

I felt really bad for Lohan. Not just because he was tested on, but because of the assassins. I had to deal with them too when Murray Hill had put a bounty on my head.

Murray Hill. Haven't seen him in a while. Wonder if he had something to do with this.

"Don't worry, Lohan," I said. "We've got your back." Mike and Zoe nodded. "Thanks, guys." I looked at Erica angrily. "You could put down the dagger." Erica slowly lowered the dagger. "I'm watching you, Lohan." She walked off, looking back at us. "She's rude...." Lohan said. "It wouldn't be the first time." Mike said, smiling. Lohan smiled back.

"So, what now?" Lohan asked. "We can't stay out in the open." I put my head in my hand. Suddenly, my phone got a text alert.

"It's Erica," I said, reading the text. "There's something we need to see."
