Harry"We should get up."
Stretching put next to me, Logan rolls into my
body even more."Do we have to?" She mumbles, lips moving across my chest, making goosebumps spread over the skin.
"Well, if we want to go get breakfast, yes." I press my lips to the top of her head. "Then we can go into town and go shopping."
Logan lets out a long sigh. "Okay, fine."
Rolling her body away from mine, I don't let her get far before pulling her back to me long enough for my lips to press against hers. "I love you."
"I'd love you more if I were eating breakfast." Her lips turn up into a smile as she cups my jaw, kissing me one more time. "I'm going to take a shower."
I close my eyes as she slips into the bathroom and starts the water, waiting just a few minutes before throwing the duvet off my body and following after her.
Up here, the bathroom in the master is painted the prettiest shade of evergreen with white counters and golden fixtures. Honestly, I modeled my own bathroom at home after this one.
With a walk in shower big enough, I slip in behind Logan and when she turns around to see me, a brilliant smile spreads across her beautiful face.
She's always been so beautiful to me, so perfect.
The smattering of freckles on the left side of her collarbone.
The birthmark on the inside of her right knee.
The dimples at the base of her spine.
All of these things added up to who she was, every little detail committed to my memory, to the place carved out in my chest just for her.
Logan was the person my soul had longed for even before I knew it.
Someone who challenged me and ultimately made me want to be better than I'd ever been before.
"Hi."
Stepping up to me, her hands slide up my torso, pushing back into my hair. "Hi."
Moving us so that the water falls across my back, I have the advantage of watching the drops of water slide down her fair skin— watching the way the cling to her lashes, holding on as if she's the only place they want to be.
I know this is the only place I want to be.
"Here, let me—"
Reaching behind her and squeezing some soap onto her hands, Logan runs her palms across my body, over every inked design and freckle.
Every bit of it belonging to her.
Lavender and vanilla surrounds me in a haze in the intimate moment. "That smells good."
"It's my favorite." Her soft voice is like silk over my
skin. "Where do you want to go for breakfast?"I lean with her direction, letting her hands travel across my back in the same way. "We could go to Marjorie's?"
Turning around to face her, the soap slides down my body and towards the drain as I reach over her and lather my hands with soap before letting my hands touch her soft skin.
"That sounds good to me." Pressing up and finding my
lips, I smile into it. "Let's get clean, I'm hungry."A chuckle falls from my lips as she turns around and bares her back to me.
