Can we say a good divorce?

2 "changing life" calls

Vera and Patrick were sitting and watching comfortably a movie at Vera's camping car on the set of The Conjuring 4.

When suddenly Vera's phone was vibrating. Her husband, Renn, was calling her.

"Oh hi, honey, how are you?!"

- pause -

"What! What are you talking about!"

Vera's eyes were filling with tears.

- pause -

"Oh my God! Renn I can't believe you... so like what 15 years of marriage for nothing! For a random woman! Just like that! Oh and I guess you forgot at that beautiful moment that we have children!! I can't believe this Renn! I can't! OH MY GOD..."

- She hung up -

Patrick came next to her and hugged her tightly. By that time Vera was crying all of her life now... Patrick was feeling so un powerful not being able of doing anything to make her smile again. They were just sitting together, holding each other, on the floor, when suddenly an other call was being heard. But this time the call wasn't coming from Vera's phone but from Patrick's. He told her that it was only his wife and that he could call her later but Vera insisted at Patrick to take the call. Obviously he did...

"Hi honey! How are you?"

- long pause -

Same thing, Patrick's eyes were filling up with tears but Vera wasn't watching. She had too much to cry on now.

"B..but... with who? How?!"

- End of the call -

Vera saw by now that Patrick was crying just like her. She could hear what they were speaking about on the phone so she didn't ask. She thought it was quite suspicious though. Both of their phone calls were back and back... What was going on she said to herself.

Now there they were... Siting on the floor... Crying... Holding each others and wiping away each others tears...

Vera and Patrick felt asleep like that, on the floor, being exhausted of crying...

They were now both almost - they just had to sign the papers - divorced. Both of them at almost the same time...

Wasn't it suspicious?...
