Chapter 7

Nialls POV

"Amy come on, get out of bed the boys are coming today" I said to her after about the 7th time trying to get her out of bed this morning. "Niall, Im tired and sad now can you please let me be alone for 5 minutes." I did what I was told and went downsatirs to the kitchen, Amy was scary when she was annoyed.

After i found her last night i tried calming her down and told her her prince could be just around the corner and she will meet him soon, shes just one heartbreak away from happiness blah blah blah the usual things people say to fix a broken heart. She told me she doesnt care Stephen and Gillian are together now but she was annoyed and upset that it was going on 2 months before she knew about it. After we talked for a while I decied to bring her to her own house because she probably wanted her own bed, I was about to leave but she called me back and asked me to spend the night. I got my pjs from the last time I stayed here but the top didnt fit anymore since it was from around 2 years ago so i had to go shirtless. While she was asleep she snuggled into me and i couldnt help notcie how well our bodies molded together. It was perfect. I wish I could tell her how I feel but it will ruin our friendship because she probably doesnt feel the same way and if we did get together it could end badly. Before XFactor, anytime I thought about telling her, I would never do it because of them reasons.

I decided the only way to get her up would be by the smell of a fry so i checked her fridge and got rashers,eggs,sausages and hashbrowns. I put bread in the toaster and then made her tea, just the way she liked it, 3 sugars and lots of milk. I texted Liam while the breakfast was cooking.

To Liam!:

Hey, yous on the plane yet?:-)

From Liam!:

Just boarding now, see ya soon mate:D

Great that meant i had around 2 hours to make sure Amy was up and ready to meet my 4 other bestfriends. The toast popped and as soon as it did Amy walked in. "Mmmm Niall that smells amazing" she said. "Its the only way i know will deffinitely wake you up besides pouring water on you but i wanted to be nice." I said cheekily. "Well thank you my lovely for doing this and everything last night. You Niall Horan are amazing!" she said as she pulled me into a tight hug. She thinks Im amazing? She is amazing. Shes not perect but her imperfections make her perfect. "Niall why are you staring at me like that and when are the boys getting here?" oooops mustve stared to long "uh I just love your eyes, their beautiful." Really Niall, is that all you can think of. "You never said anything about my eyes before and their just boring brown ones." She said as she blushed. "Their not boring, their lovely and I guess im only noticing now." I said, atleast that didnt sound as stupid. "Stehen always said i should get blue contacts becuase he thought brown eyes were too dull." She said sadly looking down. I took her hands in mine and said "Well then Stephens clearly blind and doesnt know a good thing when he has it, you have the most beautiful eyes i have ever seen and you being yourself is beautiful so dont change for anyone ok Amy?" I said to her, she muttered a simple "Ok" when i started to lean in and couldnt stop myself. Niall what are you doing are you really going to do this? Risk your friendship of 10 years. Just as our noses were about to touch my phone beeped. I was disapointed but also thankful at the same time.

From Harry:-) 

Hey Niall, just boarded the plane, see ya in a while.

I didnt bother texting back because he wouldnt get it until the flight ended. Suddenly Amy spoke. She must feel pretty awkward about what nearly happened. "So when are they getting here?" she croaked out. "oh yeah, they just boarded now." i told her. "Ok, Niall Im going to get ready then, Ill go to yours when im done ok? she asked. "yea ok bye, see you soon." I said before running out of her house and down the road.

Amys POV

I ran up to my room, without eating my breakfast Niall had made me, What just happened? Was Niall about to kiss me? Why hadnt I tried to stopped him? Why was I disapointed when his phone beeped and interupted what ever was about to happen? All these questions raced through my mind and I knew the only person who could help me was Jen and I decided to call her.

* le phone conversation*

Jen: Hey Amy. Why are you calling me at 9am, is there someth-

Me: No time for chit chat and yes there is something wrong!

Jen: What is it, are you being kidnapped?

Me: Not the time for stupid remarks. I think Niall almost kissed me.

Jen: What? Are you serious? How? When?

Me:I dont know, his phone rang before it happened and he didnt say anything after.

Jen: Amy relax ok,did he say anything before.

Me:He told me i was beautiful and to forget about Stephen.

Jen: AHHHHH Amy he likes you, he said your beatiful and wants you to forget about stephen to move on, meaning to go out with him.

Me: Jen i really dont think he does, he looked relieved when his phone interupted us. Weve been friends for 10 years I think if he did like me hed be able to tell me.

Jen: Amy do you like him?

Me: Ehmmm i dont know, yes? I liked him when we were 14 but then he got with Gillian and i knew I had no chance.

Jen: Amy tell him how you feel and if it doesnt work out their are plenty of other guys faliing at your feet.

Me: I cant because if he doesnt feel the same way it will run our friendship and if we do get together and it ends badly then 10 years of secrets, trust, laughs and memories will be thrown down the drain.

Jen: Amy hes probably thinking the same thing, can you atleast think about telling him? 

Me: Fine, Ill think about it. Bye.

Jen: Bye see you soon!

*end of phone conversation*

I thought about what Jen said and i realised I do actually have feelings for my best friend, when he held my hands in his i felt all tingly and I never experienced such a strong feeling before even towards Stephen. I guess Im just going to try to hide my feelings until they go away, which could be for a very long time. I finished getting ready and ate my breakfast which was now cold but still amazing. I walked to Nialls house  and prepared for a very awkward situation.

A/N 

I really enjoyed writing this chapter for some reason.

Sorry there hasnt been much One Direction yet but they will 100% be in the next chapter.
