Chapter 6

Amys POV

I woke up with such a bad headache and then I realised it was probably from all the crying i did the night before. I turned to my side and saw my besfriend asleep. I mustve fallen asleep here agian, i hope he doesnt mind. I know my parents wont because they know Niall so well and their on a business trip again so i would be alone and thats not something I like. How did i have such an amazing bestfried? He hadnt changed one bit since he left for Xfactor and thats what i love about him.

I started to think about the rest of his band. I saw them in magazines but I didnt want to read them because it made me miss Niall even more. I knew there was one with curly hair for a start anyway and he was kinda good looking if i remeber correctly.

I thought about One Direction abit more before my bladder decided it had to be emptied. I got out of the bed carefully, making sure to not wake my sleepy bestfriend. People might think its weird that me and Niall sleep in the same bed but for us it was normal.

On my way back from the bathroom i bumped into Nialls brother Greg. "Hey Amy, I heard you and Niall last night." he said with a cheeky wink. I was very confused. "what are you talking about Greg?"  asked suspicially "well i was wondering will i be an unce soon?" he said wiggling his eyebrows. It took me awhile to undersgand what he was getting at "ewwwww no, were bestfriends. why would you think that?" I said in disgust. "Well everyone knows it will happen some day" he said beore running down the stairs.

Why did everyone think Niall and me would end up together? I started to think about me and Niall together and I kind of liked the thought of it. WAIT. WHAT? THIS IS NOT HAPPENING. I WILL NOT START TO LIKE LIKE MY BESTFRIEND NIALL HORAN. IM ON THE REBOUND, YES THATS WHAT IT IS, JUST GETTING OVER MY LAST BREAKUP, NO NEED TO WORRY. 

I started to walk back to the room and who did i walk straight into, only my bestfriend himself, Niall..

Nialls POV

"oh sorry Amy, didnt see you there, actually i was just comig to look for you." I said still half asleep. "Its fine, and i was in the bathroom." she squeeked rather nervously, maybe she was upset again. "Hey are you still upset about Stephen?2 i asked getting ready for her to break down in tears but she simply replied "nope, i cant believe i wasted 7 months of my life wit him anyway" she said confidently. I am so glad shes happy.

****later that night****

"Niall can we go to the park?" Amy asked. "Yea come on lets go"

We walked and talked for ages. She asked me about the guys and i was pleased to tell her they were arriving here tomorrow morning to meet my family. Her eyes lit up with excitement and i think a little nervousnes. I knew they would like her so she had nothing to worry about.

We got to the playground and where aout to walk over to the swings but there was a couple eating each others faces off so we decided to wait for them to finish. When they finnaly stopped and came up for air i realised it was Stephen and GIllian. Amy noticed this to because her grip on my arm became tighter and then she moved her hand and intertwined our fingers. I had no idea why she was doing this because i know she doesnt like me that way but I dont care because I liked this feeling. It gave me goosebumps. I expected her to break down in tears but she just stared at Stephen. He noticed and came running over,shoutig at me and threatening me.  I didnt really understand why until I relaised he was staring at our intertwined hands. "we broke up 2 days and youve already got with him?" he screamed at her. What? Who did he think he was? Hes the one who cheated on her and was eating Gillian on a swing in a playground. I mustve said that all out loud or else Amy is a really good mind reader because those exact words came out of her mouth.  "Amy youre so stupid, i was with Gillian for 2 months before you found out. How could you have been so blind?" this made my fists clench and the only thing stopping me form punching him in the jaw was the fact that we where in a playground. I suddenly couldnt feel amys hand on mine and i saw her run out of sight. "Well done Stephen, you already broke her heart couldnt you have just left it at that?" "Not my fault I got bored." i couldnt believe what this guy was saying. i was about to leave to find Amy when he called me back and whispered "shes just using you to get over me you know that dont you?" his words hit me like a bag of bricks to the chest. Amy wasnt like that and why would she use me? We arent even together so thats not using. The feelings i have for her arent mutual so were just friends She was upset and i helped her. I ran to where i knew Amy would be, the place we discovered when we were 8, a place only we knew, and there i saw her, the most beautiful girl looking so broken, crying her eyes out sitting on the grass. I had to ry to cheer her up and I knew I had a challenge on my hands..

yay long chapter finally. So what do you think, is Amy really just on the rebound or will her feelings last. What will Niall say to make her happy and what will she think of the boys?
