Little background info:
Maddox and Ashlyn sort of fought over Val that summer so they think the other hates them. Ashlyn already knows herself kind of well.
Maddox:
I knock at the door and see Ashlyn open it, great start of the night. "Hey"
"Come in." Well that was akward I don't know why she hates me so much, it makes it even worse that I like her.
When I come in to the living room I hear Carlos scream:"Yesss, finally, now we can start secret santa."
I put my gift down and hope the person I have likes it.
"EJ I need your help. ""With what? " "Secret santa I have no idea what to get my santa and I thouth you might know." "Okay who did you get?" "Ashlyn. I wanna get her something fun."
"Why would you wanna get her something fun, I thought you hated her? ""No quite the opposite actually." "Okayyyyy well I'll help you."
We got her a notebook to write down songlyrics, crystals and new tarotcards. I hope she likes it.
Gina, Ricky and Kourtney are before me.
Then It's my turn I open the bag and see three gifts, I open the first one and see some crystals, then I open the second one it's a pack of stickers to put on my guitar, the third one is a guitar pick. I really like it.
"Now guess who gave it to you."
"Gina?"
"Nope"
"EJ"
"Nope"
"Seb"
"Nope"
"Ashlyn"
"uhh, Yeah."
She blushes.
"Thanks Ash."
"No problem"
"Cous' your turn."
"Okay."
Ashlyn opens the gift and I hope she likes it.
"Omg that's so cute."
"I guess EJ."
"Nope"
"Gi"
"Nope."
"Kourt."
"No."
"Seb"
"No."
"Carlos."
"No."
I'm a bit she still hasn't guessed my name.
I walk out of the room, all the emotions are to much.
Ashlyn pov.
"Why did she just walk out?"
"Cause she got you, Ash and you say I'm the oblivious cousin."
"Wait really?"
"Yeah come on go after her."
I walk out the front door and see Maddox crying in the snow.
I sit down next to her.
"Hi."
She looks up.
"Hey."
"I'm sorry , I thought you hated me."
"Well quite the opposite actually. I thought you hated me too, so I just never told you."
"Well I don't hate you either."
"We're such idiots."
"Why are we like this?"
"Can I kiss you?"
"Yes."
I feel our lips connect and love the warmth of her lips.
Then I hear EJ scream in the distance.
"Are you guys watching us?"
"Let them watch
