It's almost christmas, but I'm not going home this year. I'm sitting all alone in at the fireplace in the common room. I'm reading a book, when Ashlyn comes in.
"Hi."
"Oh Hi I didn't think anyone would be here."
"Always here, normally I'm the only girl staying her at christmas."
"Yeah not allowed to be at home this Christmas."
"Oh what happened."
"Got kicked out after coming out."
"Oh well that sucks"
"Jup"
"Are you out at school yet?"
"Yes Ithought it weng through the whole school."
"I usually ignore rumors so maybe somebody told me and I ignored it."
"Well that's a tactic"
We kept talking for hours.
I heard her voice getting softer and slower like she was tired. The fire in the fireplace was almost out. We we're silent for a while and before I knew it she fell asleep on my shoulder.
My heart skipped a beat and it feels like there's fireworks exploding in my stomach.
I whisper"this is gonna be an interesting holiday"
