Little background information: Ashlyn just broke up with Big Red. Maddox broke up with Madison half a year ago. Ashlyn didn't take it very well.
Ashlyn pov
I ring the doorbell, we decided to celebrate christmas at Gina's this year. At first I didn't wanna come, Big Red and I are weird right now. We ended things with a kind of fight thingy. I just wanted to sit on the couch and watch shitty christmas romcoms but Gina convinced me to come.
Finally the door opens and I see Gina: "Hey honey, you came." "Well you kind of forced me, cause I quote"You would kill me if I didn't come""
"Haha come in. Why don't you talk to Maddox she broke up with Madison, maybe she can give you some advice."
"Yeah I guess I'll try that."
Half an hour passes.........
"Hey Maddox can I talk to you? "
"Yeah of course what's up? "
Maddox P.o.v.
"Well this is kind of a weird question, but how did you move on from your break up."
"I found someone else to crush on."
"Oh who??????"
"I'm not gonna tell you."
"Okayyy... Well thanks for the advice."
I could've told her why not Maddox? Why?
Ashlyn pov
I am talking to Gina, but behind her I see Maddox talking to Jet. I chuckle, I feel the pieces click inside my heart and my head.
When the party is over I walk over to Maddox. "Again thanks for the advice, it helped."
"Oh okay."
"Merry christmas, Maddie."
