Chapter Seventeen:Second Round Finish

Ari's Pov                           
I'm sitting back with everyone,Tsu and Tokoyami already left for their fight.Right now I'm just thinking of whether or not to use Mom's Technique against Todoroki.As I'm thinking about this I feel someone tap me on the shoulder.I look over seeing Jiro....
Jiro:Hey I was wondering who do you think gonna win?
Me:Hmm....depends who goes for the win first,if Tsu wraps Tokoyami up with her tongue and yeets his ass off first she'd win.But Tokoyami can have Dark Shadow do the same thing to her.
Kaminari:So it's just depends who's faster?
[I nod]
Ida:That does make sense both of their quirks give them good mid and long range capabilities.
Me:Yep....by the way Kirishima(He looks at me)was it decided who's moving on to the next round for you and the metal guy?
Kirishima:Yeah I am we had ah armwrestling match....did you not see it?
Hagakure:It was while you were going to the bathroom Ari.
Me:Oooh....Alright.
Izu:*Muttering*Probably because you guys had that contest.
Me:Which I stomped everyone in.
[Kirishima,Kaminari,Ojiro,and Shoji slump over defeated while I snicker in victory.Then Tsu & Tokoyami's Match begins,we all watch as Tsu shoots her tongue out to catch Tokoyami.But Dark Shadow comes out grabs her tongue fies at her grabbing her before successfully pushing her off the stage winning the match]
Midnight:<And the winner of the 3rd Match of the Second Round is Fumikage Tokoyami!>
[We all clap as they both head off while Explody and Kirishima head off to get ready for their match]
Me:Kinda feel bad for Kirishima and Tokoyami.
Ochako:*Tilts Head*Why?
Me:Cause Explody's ah bad match for them.
Ida:*Curious*What do you mean Ari?
Me:Dark Shadow is weak against light so with Explody he can generate bright flashes of light with his explosions and with Kirishima Explody keep his distance like he did with Ochako while also breaking his defense down.
[They're surprised]
Yaoyorozu:So both of them are at a heavy disadvantage.
Me:Yeah....Explody may be a cocky prick,but his quirk is definitely powerful.....it's just unfortunate that everyone keep inflating his ego with compliments and praise to the point he became like he is.(I look at Izu)That includes you Izu.
[He looks down knowing I'm right,then Tokoyami and Tsu come back,they sit down and then I see All Might come over]

All Might:Young Ari(I look at him)do you have ah moment?
Me:Oh sure(I get up and head off with him)*Quiet*Did something happen?
All Might:*Quiet*No I just wish to speak to you about something.
[I nod and we head off into ah room where I see Mom]
Mom:Okay so Ari(I look at her)have your quirks been working properly since what happened during the first match?
Me:Yeah....I haven't had any issues.(They slowly nod)any idea what that could've been?
All Might:No,the best I can think of is the connection between you and young  midoriya triggered OFA to activate.But regarding the glowing eyes I have no idea.
[I nod]
Me:To be honest I've been thinking about it....and I do have ah idea(They look at me)considering how One-for-All is....well pretty unique in terms of quirk.Could it be that just do to the fact multiple people have had the quirk,when Shinso put Izu under his control do to the unique properties of One-for-All it acted as if he had tried to put Nine people under his control and the glowing eyes were some remnant left inside of One-for-All by the previous users.
[They all look at me and All Might puts his hand on his chin thinking]
All Might:Hmm.....My Master did mention something about the previous wielders being apart of One-for-All.....So that could be it.
Mom:It wouldn't be surprising if One-for-All's Unique Properties did have something to do with it.The ability to be passed on to other people is practically unheard of after all,so who knows what effects it could have when coming into contact with a quirk like Shinso's.
Me:.....It also possible could've had something ta do with my quirk,given it's ah pretty unique case to.
[They nod]
Mom:For now if anything happens let us know okay.
Me:Right.
[I head off going back to the others,I get their fairly quick and arrive just in time to see Kirishima get knocked back by Explody's Explosion]
Ashido:Oh Ari your back.
Me:Yeah All Might just wanted ta ask me something about my quirk.
[They nod and I sit down as we all watch Kirishima struggle to maintain his hardness.As Kirishima is blown back onto the ground Explody lets a big one out and it hits Kirishima dead on unguard.He slides a bout eight feet away and everyone can see he's out cold...]
Midnight:<And the winner of the Fourth Match of the Second Round is Katsuki Bakugou!>
[Explody walks off as Kirishima is taken away on a stretcher,I turn and look at Todoroki]
Me:Fyi Todoroki(He looks at me)you better be read cause I ain't holding back one bit.
Todoroki;*Nods*Neither will I.
[I grin as a one hour break is called for them to get ready for the Semi-Finals & the Finals....]
