Chapter Twenty-Two:Internships Begin & Gran Torino's Lessons

Ari's Pov                           
I'm walking with everyone to the train station,we all have our Hero Outfits and are heading to where we'll be doing our Internships at.Izu and I are somewhat worried about Ida,apparently his brother got seriously injured by a villain called 'The Hero Killer,Stain'.Right now tho we're walking up to the Train,as we reach the separation spot we stop looking at Mr.Aizawa...
Aizawa:Alright don't do anything foolish during your internships and try to learn as much from the Pros as you can.
Me:Hey Todoroki(He looks at me and I hold out a piece of paper)if Endeavor starts being a bitch just call me,my Mom's quirk does work thru phone lines so I can just put him to sleep.
[He's surprised and takes the piece of paper]
Aizawa:Anyways remember you aren't Pros so you're not going for combat,you're going to be able to see what it's like in the field.
[We all nod and head off to our respective trains,as I'm walking my phone goes off.I take it out and look seeing a text from Mom]
Mom:<Tell Gran Torino I said hi and be on your best behavior Ari>
Me:<I will Mom>
Mom:<By the way how is Ingenium's younger brother?>
Me:<He seems fine,but I don't know to be honest>
Mom:<Hmm...Alright well just stay safe sweetheart>
Me:<I will bye Mom>
Mom:<Bye sweetie>
[I sit down on the train with Izu & Ida before the train takes off.....]

Timeskip a Few Hours Later                 
Izu and I are walking to the place where we'll be meeting Gran Torino,as we are he just seems nervous as hell.
Me:Izu calm down from what Mom told me,he's actually pretty chill.
Izu:Yeah...but All Might seemed really nervous about him.
Me:Fair,but we're here.(He looks seeing a normal looking building which surprises him)I mean he is retired so did you really expect a big fancy agency?
Izu:.......
[He looks down as I roll my eyes,we head up the stairs and I knock.After a little bit the door opens and we see a older man come out...]

[He looks at us]
Torino:Ah who are you boys?
Izu:I'm Izuku Midoriya.
Me:I'm Ari we're from UA High.(He looks at us)and here(I take out a bag of Takoyaki)my Mom wanted me to....
[He flashes by us taking the bag,we look seeing him on the wall with the bag]
Torino:Aaliyah always made great Takoyaki(He looks at us)so you both can use One-for-All huh.
Me:....Yeah,tho Izu actually possesses it and my quirk just lets me use it because of our bond.
Torino:Alright then Izuku Midoriya why don't you fire off a One-for-All Smash at me.
[We're surprised)
Izu:But sir....
[He flashes by us and I look seeing him looking thru Izu's Costume]
Torino:This is ah pretty good costume so where's that smash?
Me:....You heard him Izu.
[He's surprised and then nods,I jump over to stay out of the way and Izu gets suited up.Once he's ready Gran Torino starts blitzing around the room,I'm keeping track of him thanks to the vibratings he's generating but Izu's not able to and gets hit in the back]
Izu:That hurt.
Me:"From what I remember Mom said Gran Torino's Quirk allows him to move at incredible speeds by projecting air from the bottom of his feet.It's not so much that he can fly or that he's just super fast.It's more he's agility because he can change his angle by moving the direction of his feet in mid air making it a pain in the ass to keep up with his movements."
[Izu gots for a flick at him,but misses and Gran Torino takes him down.He pokes Izu's cheek]
Torino:Your loyalty and admiration for All Might are shackles for you(He stands up)you're treating One-for-All as more special than it actually is.
Izu:Then...what should I do?!
Me:Simple Izu(He looks at me)stop trying ta be All Might and just be Deku.
[He's surprised and Gran Torino nods]
Torino:Well then from what I saw during the Sports Festival you're already adept at using Aaliyah's Quirk.Being able to use 'Zaylyr Alnamir' is ah good start,you were also able to use your sound to incredible your physical capabilities.Have you learned any other of Aaliyah's moves?
Me:...Well I can use her Vibration Sense and I also have been working on 'iideaf allams,but I haven't been able to get it quite right  yet.
[He nods]
Torino:What about One-for-All?
Me:Well I guess I'm in kinda the same boat as Izu using mainly All Might's moves....tho I have been thinking of some new ways to use it.
[He nods]
Torino:Alright...Toshinori maybe the Symbol of Peace,but he's a newbie when it comes to teaching.I can't stand ta see ah boy use their quirk like that,so I guess I'll have to show you two myself.
[We're surprised and he starts blitzing around the room,Izu gets hit while I manage to dodge thanks to Vibration Sense......]

Timeskip a Couple Hours Later                
I'm sitting with Izu taking a breather,Gran Torino left to get some more food.I can tell the wheels in Izu's head are spinning like crazy just from the look in his eyes....
Me:What ya thinking Izu?
Izu:....I think I know what Gran Torino really meant earlier(I look at him)I need to start thinking of One-for-All as a apart of my own body.(I raise a eyebrow)I've been treating it like it's separate from me,but that's been costing me control over it.
Me:So by thinking of it and you're body as one you'll be able to better control it?(He nods)Huh...I get what you mean,it's kinda like people with prosthetic limbs.(He looks at me)At first they have difficulty moving it and everything,because they view it more as a Item attacked to their body.But over time they get use to it and it becomes like they always had it.....for you One-for-All is basically a Prosthetic Quirk.And you're still viewing it as something attached to your body,not apart of your body right?
Izu:Yeah.
[He starts writing some stuff down as I notice Gran Torino arriving back and standing outside,I glance at the door and nod.Before looking at Izu with a small smile......]
