"If you could do any job in the whole world, you know, if money didn't matter, what would you do?" Emily asked Aaron as they looked out to the ocean, now sitting in a small bench at the end of the pier.

He looked at her and smiled. "It's gonna sound dumb," he said confidently.

"No it's not. Or, if it is, I won't laugh. I swear," she insisted.

He stared at her for a moment before shaking his head. "I'd move to Alaska, first of all."

"Alaska?" Emily asked, already intrigued.

"Yeah," he said, "It's peaceful up there."

"Okay," she agreed, subconsciously sliding closer to him on the bench. "What's your job, Mr. Alaska?" She said, locking eyes with him.

He felt that funny feeling in his stomach when she moved closer to him and looked at him the way she was. Inn her eyes was some kind of stupid-determined look to get to know him better. He wondered If he looked at her the same way. After all, just like she was, he was equally  as eager to learn more and more about her as the days past.

He shook his head slightly, before saying anything. "I'd be a photographer," he said finally.

"Really?!" she exclaimed, grinning.

"It's stupid?" He smiled widely back at her, his dimples showing through.

"No, not at all. It's cute," she said, leaning back on the bench.

He furrowed his eyebrows. "It's cute?" he asked, confused.

"I mean, I just didn't expect that, I guess," she admitted.

He understood that. As far as she knew, he'd only ever been a hard ass boss. It made sense.

"What would you shoot?" she asked. "People? I don't think there's a lot of that in Alaska."

He smiled at her joke, "No. Well, maybe, if I had the right model. I don't know, honestly. Anything that caught my eye. The clouds, a boat, or maybe a bird."

She nodded. Aaron Hotchner, photographer of nature, and all things beautiful.

"And what about you?" he inquired, "what would you do if money didn't matter?"

"That's a broad question," she said, taking a deep breath.

"Oh, come on, I answered. Starting small. Where would you move?"

She laughed and shook her head at the man beside her. "Um, I'd go to Greece, I think."

"What's in Greece?" he asked, draping an arm across the top of the bench behind her.

"Warm weather. Good food," she then smirked and nudged his shoulder, "hot guys."

"Hot guys," he repeated, showing a small smile. "Have you ever been?"

"No," she told him, "my mother got posted everywhere but."

"How many countries have you been to?" Aaron asked, out of curiosity. He'd heard all about her trips, wether it was from the team or from her talking about it, but he never really knew much about it.

"Fifty six," she replied, feigning hesitation. "But most of them are so close I probably just drove over the border."

"Wow," he said, sitting back on the bench. "And your favorite?"
