Chapter 43- Overreaction

*Niall's POV*

"There you are. Where were you?" I asked.

"Umm, we just, uh, went shopping." Lexi said, making very quick eye-contact with me but hurrying up the stairs.

I went after her and found her putting away the new clothes she bought.

I went up and hugged her from behind. I started kissing her neck until she pulled out of my grip and disappeared into her closet with a bikini in her hands.

"Are you okay?" I asked, following her.

"When are we leaving tomorrow?" She asked me.

"Nine. Did you hear me?" I asked.

"Yes." She replied.

"And I don't get a reply? What's wrong?" I asked.

"Niall they heard everything earlier." She released.

"Who and what?" I asked confusedly.

"Everyone, the boys along with Dani and El. I went downstairs and they were laughing. That's why I left. I butt-dialed someone and they heard us "playing" earlier. So I went to Starbucks and the girls must have followed me. We talked and then went shopping." She explained.

"Why is that so bad?" I asked.

"You don't understand. That's really embarrassing!!!" She said.

"It is really embarrassing, I just thought about it. Are you ashamed of our sex life?" I asked.

"No, Niall. I'm not ashamed of our sex life. That wasn't even close to sex. I played you. But what's humiliating, is that they know about it and they hear it. They probably think I'm a freak now." She said.

"That could of been sex if you hadn't of gone downstairs!" I said.

"Quit thinking about that!!!!" She play-scolded me.

"They don't think you're a freak. It was just an accident. I bet they all do it too. Well, at least Liam and Louis. Maybe not so much Liam and Danielle, but you never know. Also, Eleanor isn't as sweet as she looks, she can be naughty with Louis." I joked.

That made her laugh and walk into my arms. I wrapped my arms around the small of her back and she wrapped her hands around my back. Her head was in my chest and we just snuggled there for a minute.

Someone knocked on the door and came in. Zayn.

I slowly let go of Lexi and she faced the other wall, away from the door where Zayn was standing.

He walked over to her and wrapped her in a hug.

"You're fine. We don't think any lower of you." He said.

"It was so embarrassing, please forgive me." She gushed.

"Look at me." He said as she raised her head.

"You shouldn't be apologizing, it was an accident. We should be apologizing, we laughed." Zayn explained.

"It was so embarrassing and humiliating!!!" She said.

"I know, stuff like that had happened to Liam and Danielle and Louis and Eleanor before. We're sorry." Zayn said.

"I know I'm overreacting and exaggerating." She admitted and returned to my arms.
