Chapter 16- Can I Swim Please?

*Niall's POV*

Once everybody was ready and already downstairs loading in the cars, I joined Danielle and Eleanor and I helped them get Lexi ready. She came out of the bathroom with makeup, curly hair, with her bangs pulled back into a little bump with bobby pins. She was wearing a colorful sundress that went all the way to her ankles. She was beautiful. I slipped her flip flop onto her right foot an handed her crutches to her.

"Come on everybody, time to go." Harry said as Danielle and Eleanor followed him.

"Come on beautiful." I said to her as I kissed her softly.

I followed her down the stairs and out the front door. Harry, Zayn, Danielle, Eleanor, Louis, and Liam all rode together. And mine and Lexi's parents rode together, while Lexi and I rode together. I opened the passenger door to my car and carefully helped Lexi in and placed her crutches in the the back seat. I rounded the car and got in. Our parents led the way, followed by Harry and them, followed by us.

"So, what's the plan for tonight?" She asked me.

"I planned for all of us to go and look at lights in this Christmas light drive-thru." "And I think our parents are just gonna stay home and stuff." I said.

"I love Christmas! Especially with family." She replied.

"What are you talking about? Your parents aren't going with us baby." I asked confused.

"Silly, you, the lads, and the girls are the other part of my family." She replied.

Wow. She really loved me, and not for my features, fame, or wealth.

I grabbed her hand and tried to kiss her, but she pushed me back.

"Wait for the kiss, just park the car first. We don't need another accident. And besides, how did anybody let you drive with one arm?" She asked me looking at my cast.

"Everyone knows I'm talented!" I said smirking and watching her cute little laugh.

"You're so cute!" She giggled.

I loved her so much, and I'm glad she's mine and that I'm hers.

I turned off the car and opened Lexi's door. I grabbed her crutches and helped her out of the car. "Ya know, you have a doctors appointment next week, on Tuesday at 1:30. I want to go with you, if you don't mind." I said.

"Niall, of course you can come with me." She said.

When we got inside the restaurant, we told everybody our plan for tonight. "Can I go?" Lexi's little sister asked. Lexi looked at me and I looked at her parents, they nodded, and I nodded back to Lexi.

"Yes baby, you can come." Lexi told her little sister. After lunch, we headed back home.

When we got home, Lexi changed into some shorts and one of my t-shirts, so we just relaxed in our room. I looked at the clock, '3:45'.

"I want to swim Niall." Lexi told me.

"I don't know if you can..." I replied.

"Let me go ask Zayn, he's smart, and he's broken a lot of bones." I said getting up from our bed.

"Can I come...?" She asked me.

"You're supposed to be resting, darling." I replied, tucking the blankets tighter around her. She nodded and I went to Zayn and Harry's room. I knocked on the door, and Zayn answered gesturing for me to come in.

"Well, Zayn, you've broken a lot of bones. Lex wants to know if she can go swimming." I asked.

"No." he replied.

"But, she should be able to soon." He chuckled.
