Chapter 17- A Perfect Night

*Lexi's Pov*

"Do it for me. Your beautiful girlfriend that REALLY REALLY REALLY wants to swim." I begged.

"Fine." Niall said. He pulled out his iPhone and called the doctor's office.

I was so happy, he rescheduled my appointment for 4:15. Yay! Hopefully the Doctor will let me swim. I changed back into what I wore at lunch and Niall carried me bridal style to put me in the car.

"I'll be right back, I've gotta go tell mom where we're going." Niall said.

"Ok, I'll be waiting here." I said.

When Niall came back, he said, "Alrighty, lets get going."

"Yay! I'm SSSOOO excited to get to swim!!!" I exclaimed.

"You're so silly!" Niall laughed.

"I just really want to swim, I love it, and I haven't swam in a long time!" I said as Niall laughed again.

Before I knew it, we had arrived. Niall checked me in, and we sat down and waited for my name to be called.

Not 5 minutes later, we were lead back to the room by the nurse. "Hello Miss Alee, how are you?" "Good, ready for this cast to be off. Doctor Gray, this is my fiancé Niall."

"Hi, nice to meet you." Doctor Gray said shaking Niall's hand.

"So, are you ready to get that thing off?" My doctor asked me, smiling.

"Yes! I'm ready to swim!" I said excitedly.

"Yes! You can swim with a brace." He replied.

When the nurse and the doctor cut the cast off, they cleaned my leg up a bit and slipped on the brace. My doctor wrote down some procedures and rules for me to take home with me.

After the doctor, we went through a bakery drive-thru and got some cupcakes to take home. When we got there, we walked through the door and everybody was watching a christmas movie in the living room.

"We got cupcakes!" Niall exclaimed.

Niall put the box of cupcakes on the coffee table while I went upstairs and put my One Direction pajamas on came back downstairs. Everyone grabbed a cupcake and ate it slowly. There was only one more seat left, so Niall sat down and I snuggled up on him with a blanket and fell asleep as he held me close.

When I woke up, I was in my red Cadillac Escalade that I got when I moved here.. I was seated next to my sleeping little sister and Niall.

"Well, hello beautiful. You slept for 2 hours." Niall said.

I nodded and tried to wake up a bit more.

Before we got to the light show, we went through the drive-thru of a quick restaurant for some food. When we got to the light show, we all got really excited. I woke my sister up and gave her food to her. She ate her food quietly, when she finished, she paid more attention to the lights. "Niall, look how pretty that is." I said, pointing outside of the window, snuggling up as we saw the beautiful lights.

After the lights, we headed back.

When we got home, everyone was in their pajamas, as all of us were too. Everybody was sitting on the couches, my Mom, Dad and my little sister were on one couch, and me and Niall were in the other one next to that one. On purpose, I put my left hand on the arm of the couch, fingers sorta spread out.

My Mom put her hand on my hand and after a minute I smiled and she gasped. "Oh my gosh!" She said with her hand over her mouth.

"What?" My Dad asked.

"She's getting married." My Mom said holding up my hand.

"Really?" My Dad asked.

"Yes!" I said showing my ring.

Niall grabbed my other hand and squeezed it. I turned and Niall kissed me sweetly and softly.

Later on I got the chance to talk to my parents and said, "Why are you guys so extremely excited? You planned this a long time ago..."

"We didn't really now if this would work out, because it was planned...." My Mom said.

"Really? Me and Niall were always best friends, even when he moved. Yeah we kinda drifted away, but ya know, we love each other, a lot, it may of been fast, but, we know everything about each other. He loves me for me, and I love him for him." I said.
