Chapter 4

The night had come and Reena was discharged from the hospital and brought to KGF where she was still unconscious. Once the gates to KGF opened, the people of KGF where nothing but shocked to she their sultana enter KGF, especially after everyone thought she was dead. This gave people hope as they all swore not to mention the awakening of Reena to anyone until their last breaths. And the people stood by their promise. Reena was brought to her room where she was left to rest until she woke up. 

The next few days went by slow as ever. The people were eagerly waiting for the arrival of their sultan, and so was Chacha. He was eager to know where Rocky was as no one was able to contact him. All he knew was that Rocky killed gurupandian in the parliament office after the accident. But ever since then he had been MIA. Fatimah made sure to frequently visit Reena to make sure she was doing ok. Tears were brought to her eyes as she saw the state of Reena. 

3 days had gone by and Vanaram was having a conversation about the mines with Chacha when one of the guards had informed him that he had got a phone call. Vanaram went to the main halls accompanied by Chacha to answer the phone.

"hello" said Vanaram

"sir..Ro...Rocky" said the man on the phone.

"what happened to Rocky, huh" asked Vanaram worried as this was the first he heard of Rocky in over a week.

"sir...Ramika Sen.. She sent out a death warrant against Rocky after he killed Gurupandian"

"Ok and..... what happened tell me "said Vanaram who was now practically screaming into the phone. Chacha tried to listen to the conversation but could barely here anything.

"sir...she killed him. Rocky is dead"

silence. 

Vanaram dropped the phone in shock. He couldn't believe the words he was hearing. Rocky was dead. He turned to face Chacha who plastered a confused look on his face as he repeatedly asked him what was wrong. Vanaram couldn't tell Chacha. He couldn't bring the words to his lips.

"Kasim bhai...Rocky" was all Vanaram could say before he choked on his words. He looked up at Chacha, his eyes filled with fresh tears. Chacha looked at Vanaram in disbelief. No this cant be, he thought. Vanaram nodded his head as he could read Chacha's mind and knew what he was thinking of. Chacha collapsed to the ground, his hand on his chest as he stared intensely at the ground.

 "no..no this cant be. my beta is alive, he has to be. he would never give up that easily, he would never leave his people, his wife, his child." Chacha clutched his shoul as he sobbed. "Reena, oh my beti. I didn't even get a chance to tell him she was still alive. that his baby was still alive. he would've fought for her if he knew she was waiting for him. its all my fault" he said.

A few hours past and Vanaram was thinking of how to break the news of Rocky's death to the people of KGF. The people who had hope that their sultan will arrive sooner or later. But he was most nervous on how to tell Reena once she woke up. He had gathered all the people of KGF outside the mansion as he decided to break the news to them. Once Vanaram told everyone the news, he could see the hope being drained from the peoples eyes. They all began to cry and mourn the loss of their sultan. All were mourning except Reena. Poor thing, she had no idea of the news waiting for her once she woke up.
