The Blues had won the game. They all played really well. She had met Josh right after the game.
Lucas extended his hand for a handshake but Josh just nodded.
There was going to be a party at theirs that night. She met Ryan and Dan as well, they said they were going to come to the party.
She headed to Josh's room after he was done with the prep. It was really cold. She had stuffed Lucas' sweatshirt in her bag when coming, like someone was going to steal it. She did not know when she slept but she slept in that only.
She did not wake up on time for lectures. She remembers Josh waking her up. She remembers not having the energy.
Josh woke her up for lunch. She barely dragged herself to the living room. She was getting down with the flu and bad.
She tried heading back up to her room but her forehead was burning. Josh told her to sleep through the evening he would take her then.
She woke up a bit too late, barely managed to get some soup down, Nriti was there. Josh left for the library. Hayes and Nriti gave her company after making her sit through an episode of some dating show, instead of letting her open the books. She fell asleep on the sofa.
The next day Lucas came to meet her. He bought strawberry oreo, cereal and hot chocolate. He came after the lectures were over. Josh didn't say anything to Lucas and she was for once glad for the silence.
She fell asleep on the sofa with him. When she woke up again he had left soup in the fridge for her and a note. Nriti had come back and she stayed this time, not that Sloane was good company to her cause she fell asleep a bit after taking the medicines.
