Eden lied on her bed staring at the ceiling with her guitar in her arms, her fingers stroking the rings softly, when she heard a knock on the door. She sat up quickly as the door opened. Stefan peeped inside with a smile. "Hey. How are you?" He asked. "As good as I can be." Eden replied with a smile. Stefan nodded. "Could I uh-" He asked gesturing inside. "Yes." Eden nodded. Stefan walked in with a box in his hands. "Here's um...some vervain for you, Elena and Jenna." He said and opened the box. "And, um, I made this bracelet for Jeremy." He said as he gave a bracelet to her "And few extra ones for friends." He told her. Eden took a heart shaped pendant from the box keeping the bracelet aside. "You can put it in jewelry, or you can even put it in food or drink, but as long as it's in you or on you, a vampire cannot control you." He added as Eden owas observing the pendant.
She looked inside the box to find more bunch of stuff. "Wow.." She muttered taking out a dried branch of vervain. "I know, but there's another vampire in town. So until we find out who it is and what he wants, we have to be careful." Stefan said smiling softly. "I will give it to everyone. Thank you Stefan." She said and pulled her best friend to a hug sighing. There was so much going on, she forgot what relaxation and comfort was. Stefan hugged back. "Be careful today at school." He said. Eden nodded pulling away from the hug. "Where's Elena?" She asked. "She's asleep. I didn't wake her up." The green eyed vampire replied. "Good, she needs rest." Eden nodded. "So do you." Stefan said. "I'II take rest when we're out of all the problems we have in our plates right now." Eden said and smiled picking up the box. Stefan gave her a look of mixed emotions, worry and sympathy. "Don't look at me like that." She said. Stefan sighed and looked down. "I'II leave now. Call me if you need anything." He said to the hazel eyed girl. Eden nodded assuring and Stefan walked away.
That day in school, Eden made sure she had slipped Tyler and Jeremy vervain. Caroline was only left now. She ahead saved a necklace for her because she knew Caroline would take it without hesitation. Out in the front courtyard during lunch, Eden, Elena and Caroline were walking across the lawn together. Caroline was observing the necklace around her neck which Eden just gave her. "It's so pretty. Thank you. God, it'll go with, like, everything. What's the occasion?" Caroline asked happily. "No occasion. Just a little friend gift." Eden told her. "Lesbian friend necklace? Cause we're freaky like that?" Caroline sarcastically winked at her causing the brunette to roll her eyes with sarcasm as well. "Your friendship is important to us Caroline." Elena said sentimentally. "Why are you being so mushy?" Caroline asked. "Because you've been avoiding El for days. Even me sometimes." Eden said looking inside her bag for more vervain objects. "I wanted you to know that whatever is going on with you and Matt, it's ok." Elena said. Eden kept quiet, not wanting to get in the middle. " I was gonna talk to you about that. I was, but there's just not much to say. You know, we've hung out a couple times. That's it, but...I just feel like we've peeked as friends. This is weird. I shouldn't be talking to you about this. It's weird. It's weird, right?" Caroline spoke.
