"Secrets cannot be hidden for too long"

Eden walked out of her room and passed by Jeremy's. The door was slightly open which gave her a clear view of what he was doing. A smile crept on her face as she saw him sketching. Jeremy loved sketching as much as she loved playing guitar. She quietly walked downstairs to Jenna with a grin on her face. "Jeremy's got his sketch pad out." She told her aunt. "You're kidding?" Jenna asked, surprised. "Nope. But don't say a word. The minute we encourage him,he'll put it away." Eden warned in a playful way. "Psychology major. Check that!" Jenna replied just as Elena walked downstairs, checking her phone.

"You and Stefan? Update?" Jenna asked. Eden sighed at his mention. It's been ages since he last contacted her. He thinks that he's protecting her and Elena this way, which he's clearly not, because they both were hurting. Elena the most. "He know how I feel and where I stand and I know where he stands but it doesn't matter. He's leaving, moving away." Elena told Jenna. "Where is he going?" Jenna asked. "I've stopped asking questions. The answers get scary." Elena said and looked at Eden who gave her a comforting look. Elena smiled smiled softly until Jenna spoke as they walked out.

"Yours leaves, mine returns." She said. "Logan?" Elena asked. "He's back." Jenna told them. Eden groaned. "I didn't let him pass the front door." Jenna added. "I hope you slammed the door in his face." Eden said. "Ah, medium slam." Jenna replied. "Three-strike rule, Jenna. You're not even allowed to watch the news." Elena said. "Exactly. No more Logan 'Scum' Fell." Jenna agreed.

At school, Elena and Eden met up with Bonnie and stood talking in the hall. At the opposite, Eden noticed Caroline and Matt talking to each other. "Did we miss something?" She asked. "They've been hanging out." Bonnie told her. "Kind of weird, don't you think?" Elena asked. "She need someone nice like him, opposed to a homicidal vampire like Damon." Bonnie said. "Yeah, how are you doing with all that?" Eden asked her best friend. "I'm freaked out. Damon attacked me. I could be dead right now. But I'm also grateful." Bonnie told them. Eden took her jacket off and went over to her locker. Elena too opened her locker, taking her scarf off as she hummed at Bonnie's reply. "To Stefan. He saved my life..... Have you guys seen him?" Bonnie asked.

Eden sighed taking her books out of the locker. "Not since he told me he was leaving. For all I know, he's already gone." Elena replied. "He wouldn't leave without saying goodbye." Eden objected. "Yes, he would. He thinks he's protecting us Ed. Clean break and all that." Elena muttered quite furiously. "So, what are you gonna do?" Bonnie asked the sisters. "Nothing I guess?" Eden shrugged closing her locker and the three started to walk through the hallways. "Maybe it's for the best." Bonnie said. "What? Why?" Elena asked. "I mean, what kind of future could you have had with him, even if he stayed?" Bonnie asked. Suddenly a banner which had 'A promise of your future' written over it, fell down on Eden's face. The groaned taking it off. "Did you just...?" Elena asked as Eden hit the banner out of her way. "No, I swear." Bonnie assured. Elena stormed off from there. "Oh god.." Eden murmured and went after her sister with Bonnie following her.
