"The supernatural world gets more dangerous and scary as the days pass."

A few days passed, Eden was starting to move on from Lexi's days but she was still not able to forgive Damon, and she didn't think that she would. She walked towards the school with Caroline. She knew she was mad at Bonnie for some reason, and was trying too make things better. "Have you even talked to Bonnie?" Eden asked. "No, I'm mad at her. She needs to make the first move." Caroline said. "Be the bigger person Care." Eden said. "Impossible in her presence." Caroline muttered. "Why are you so pissed at her anyway?" Eden asked. "She's a thief, that's why. I gave her my necklace, and she refuses to give it back. It's a matter of principle." Caroline complained.

Eden sighed. "Alright. Well, I tried and I'm officially out of it now." She said. "Good. Your turn. Where's Stefan? Have you talked to him? Or has Elena?" Caroline questioned. Eden bit her lip. "He's avoiding Elena..... and me." She told her. "Why?" Caroline questioned. Eden shrugged. "It's complicated." She told her. Caroline scoffed. "Complicated? Is he your friend or your boyfriend?" She asked. "Friend of course." Eden replied. "Then it's not complicated. Something must have passed him off." Caroline said. Eden knew Caroline wasn't even talking about her and Stefan. She was talking about herself and Bonnie.

The bell rang giving Eden a reason to leave. "I'll see you later." She said. "Bye!" Caroline said. Eden waved at Caroline and made her way to her history class. She looked at Stefan's seat, but he wasn't there today. She sighed and took her seat, behind Elena, taking out her books. Mr. Tanner was dead, Damon killed him too, so there will be a new teacher today. Hopefully he would be nicer.

A man entered the class. "Good morning everyone. Alrighty." He said and turned to write his name on the board. ALARIC SALTZMAN. "Alaric Saltzman. It's a mouthful, I know. Doesn't exactly roll off the tongue. Saltzman is of German origins. My family emigrated here in 1755 to Texas. I, however, was born and raised in Boston. Now the name Alaric belongs to a very dead great-grandfather I will never be able to thank enough. You'll probably want to pronounce it 'Alaric' but it's 'Alaric,' okay? So you can call me Ric. I'm your new History teacher." He told them with a smile.

Eden liked the new teacher already. Probably, history won't be as dreadful as always. She needed some good in her life. She looked at Bonnie to smile at her, but her best friend looked tired, like she didn't sleep. "You okay?" Eden mouthed to her friend who just shrugged. Elena looked back at her sister worriedly. Something was up with Bonnie.
