5:23 pm:
I soon ended the call and made my way out the office but I soon noticed Oliver who was crying quite a lot and Boco, Spencer, and Neville were doing their best to comfort him. It broke my heart seeing Oliver in this state, so I approached him and asked what was going on. Through hiccups and tears he said he was reminiscing about the good times he had with Toad, he feared Toad fell in the buffers of Arthur and was a goner. I reassured him we will find Toad alive and well, and this seemed to kinda help cheer Oliver up a little. Suddenly out of nowhere I heard Hank shout, "Well I'll be, look who's coming everyone!" We all looked and there was a familiar blue tank engine pulling two brown branchline coaches along with a familiar big blue engine, Thomas, Annie, Clarabel and Gordon! We all cheered in relief and joy but it was short lived. Thomas and Gordon looked like they were on the verge of breaking down, they remained silent until after some stuttering and crying, told me what happened.
Thomas said he went down his branch line to find Annie and Clarabel and he did, they were sitting scared and alone in the coach shed but they were overjoyed to see who found them. After they talked about what to do they set off back down the line, but not before stopping at the kyndely cottage to see if the kyndely's were okay. Thankfully they both were but were pretty shaken up from their experience.
Bob asked if they would like to tag along with them and they agreed, seeing as how they needed to stock up on more supplies and food. And then those two stepped out of the coaches as I'm writing this, they also seemed pretty distraught, but too remained silent. Thomas continued saying once he got off the branchline that he was gonna get back to Vicarstown the same way he got to his line. However he had to quickly veer off into the fuel depot due to some trucks on the mainline, he was cursing in anger about who could've left those there but he quickly fell silent as soon as he saw a tired Gordon and petrified Billy sitting at one of the fueling platforms.
Billy didn't say a word, but Gordon was happy to see a survivor. Gordon then explained his side of the story.
(The day it happened)
7:14 am:
He was at Maron with a goods train waiting for the all clear, but then sirens then the explosion went off. Horrified, he raced off without his train but he didn't care in the heat of the moment, soon after nearly derailing at some bends and passing a terrified Dennis racing the other way he made it to the fuel station where he found Billy who explained that he was sitting in the siding at Maron having a rest when he was woken up by Dennis barreling through the station blasting his horn along with the sirens blaring and the explosion happening. He tore out of the siding, and raced as far as he could until the shockwave through him off the mainline and into the yard leading to the depot, where he has been sitting around at due to a pipe in his boiler puncturing the inside making a leak due to the shockwave. His crew were looking for coal and water and some material to hopefully patch up the leak. And that was when Thomas came in cursing.
8:45 am:
Thomas said after an hour of trying to patch up Billy with little to no work made due to the limited amount of material, we all heard groaning and growling coming from the distance, just then a nightmarish roar was heard for the sidings nearby, none of us were about to check whatever the fuck was so we stayed put. BUT WE COULDN'T FOR LONG. There, emerging out of the shadows was an awful sight, a small group of people who looked to be zombified but they had giant, green glowing bubbles on their skin, I guess that gives me an idea of who or should I say what did that to them...
The people let out animalistic bellows and charged at Gordon but Thomas pulled in front of him to block them from him. One of them nearly got into his cab and grabbed Ted's ankle, but being a quick shooter he grabbed his revolver, and shot that bastard dead. That's when Gordon told me he heard a loud hissing noise and metal groaning, it was Billy being run dry! His boiler still had no water but his driver didn't realize he tightened the safety valve shut until it was too late. Billy's eyes soon started leaking blood and his face grew red as holes shooting out steam formed.
Thomas yelled at his crew to cool him down and they tried but Billy's lever to unfasten his safety valve was jammed shut, with their combined effort the crew tried to pry open the valve. But they couldn't in time... With one final scream, Billy's boiler exploded into a huge fireball.
Luckily Thomas was reversing by the time it started, but Gordon who was next to Billy had the side of his face pretty badly burned.
Boiler tubes and boiling hot steam were sent everywhere, nearly striking Thomas in the face. Luckily it mangaed to kill some of the people attacking and the rest ran away in fear. Thomas and Gordon, who were mostly unscathed, took a while to mourn the death of Billy and his crew and headed down the line to Vicarstown which is where they are now.

(Back to Me)
GOOD. GOD. ABOVE...
This is truely awful, not only is Billy dead too, but the virus and Arthur is taking over people, we need to be to get this under control as soon as possible! I'm going to try and talk to the soldier who I talked to earlier and try to convince him to have us evacuated off the island. We just have to round up whatever remaining engines we find. Lord, please help us in this time of need...
