It put the GPS on my phone and headed to the house of the Ruzeks. That name seemed familiar to me but honestly I couldn't remember where.
I entered a fancy ass neighborhood with literal mansions everywhere. I finally pulled up to the one I was supposed to be at. I took a deep breath and got out of the car with my bag.
I walked up to the door and knocked on it. A beautiful women with dirty blonde hair opened the door.
"Hi, you must be Vivian?" She greeted and I nodded.
"Hi, you're Mrs. Ruzek right?" I asked and she laughed before moving aside and letting me in the house.
"Please, call me Maria. Oh and this is my husband Jim." She said just as a man was walking up. He was much taller than Maria but had the same dirty blonde hair as her.
"Anyways let me go get Lily and we can tell you what you'll be expecting" Maria said and I nodded.
"Hi, nice to meet you..?" Jim said as he put out his hand for me to shake.
"Vivian, Vivian Carter, sir" I said as I took his hand to shake.
"You can call me Jim, do you go to Redwood High school? You might know our son" He asked.
"Yeah, im a senior but I might not know your son, I don't really know a lot of people at school"
He nods, "He's a senior too. You may meet him tonight when he gets home from the football game"
"Yeah maybe" I said just as I heard little foot steps running down the stairs and Maria yelling 'slow down'.
A little girl came running down the stairs and ran into my legs hugging them.
"Sorry, she's an extrovert" Jim whispered.
"It's okay" I crouched down to her level and took her hands in mine, "Hi! You must be the Lily i've been hearing all about!"
She giggled and nodded, before putting her arms out and making grabby hands, "Up, up!"
I laughed and picked her up placing her on my hip and biting my lip to hide the pain when her body hit one of my damaged ribs.
"She likes you already" Maria said laughing while going next to her husband.
"Only a few things to tell you, please give her a bath before bed and she's not allergic to anything but she does have asthma and here's her inhaler" Maria said as she handed me the inhaler.
"You can keep that, we have many just keep it with you and if you need another they are upstairs in her bathroom. Her room is upstairs, first door to the right. If she's hungry she can basically have anything and of course please help yourself to anything and lastly her bed time is 8:00 but tonight it can be 9:00 cause I know she's going to watch a bunch of movies with you." Jim said.
