It was Friday, my big game. And I kissed Vivian. And I figured out I like her. Like, really like her.
Speaking of Vivian, I need to wake her up. I turned over and shook her awake, or tried to. She groaned and rolled over. I laughed and rolled her back over before grabbing her wrist and gently pinning them above her head.
Her eyes shot open and she looked up at me. She was about to speak but I just crashed my lips onto hers. She kissed back almost immediately but pulled away after a second.
"I need to brush my teeth" she said and pushed me off running to the bathroom and grabbing her toothbrush. I went behind Vivian and wrapped my arms around her waist and leaned down, kissing her neck.
She gasped when I sucked on her neck but continued to brush her teeth. I pulled up after a while and she spit out her toothpaste and I laughed seeing the hickey I left.
"What?" She asked and I pointed at the mirror and she gasped even louder when she saw it.
"Fucking vampire" Vivian mumbled and grabbed her concealer to cover it up but I grabbed it from her.
"Nope, don't cover that up" I turned her around and she reached for it but I held it high.
"Why do you have to be so fucking tall" she groaned.
"Your just mad your like 5 foot"
"For your information i'm 5'3 and your like 6'5, I can't reach the top of your head even on my toes"
I laughed and gave her the concealer, "Don't cover up that mark or i'll just make more"
"Fine" Vivian grabbed the concealer and started covering up the bruises on her face, they were going away but obviously it would take another week to get rid of them.
"You up for my game tonight?" I asked wrapping my arms around her waist and putting my chin on her head.
"Wouldn't miss it, give me your jersey i'll wear it to school" she smiled and I kissed her head before going to my closet to get it.
"Oh and my mom is staying home so you don't have to get Lily, she doesn't want to go to the game anyway, it's to long" I said from my closet and Vivian replied with an 'okay'.
I grabbed my jersey and grabbed my extra one for Vivian. I came back to the bathroom and Vivian was brushing her hair.
"Here" I handed it to her and she thanked me before pushing me out of the bathroom so she could change.
I laughed and changed before she could come out. I put on a black long sleeve shirt under the jersey and threw on some sweatpants. Vivian came out and she had almost the exact same thing on. White long sleeve shirt under the jersey and leggings.
I grabbed her waist and pulled her into my chest. She smiled up at me and I kissed her for a second before pulling away.
"What are we?" she asked looking up at me.
"Whatever you want to be, boyfriend, girlfriend, friends, besties" I smirked and she smacked my chest.
"Boyfriend, girlfriend" she said.
"Let me ask you properly" I cleared my throat, "Vivian Carter, can I be your boyfriend?"
She laughed and nodded, "Yes, of course"
I nodded and smiled before grabbing both our bags, "Race you downstairs" I said before running downstairs.
"Hey! Cheater!" she yelled and chased after me.
"Woah, what is going on here" Mom asked smiling.
"Your son is a cheater that's what's going on" Vivian told my mom before sitting down on the couch and I collapsed next to her.
"What do you guys want for breakfast?" Mom asked looking down at us and grinning.
"French toast" I said and Vivian nodded in agreement.
"What's going on with you two? You both seem, happy? But like really happy not normal happy" Mom asked crossing her arms over her chest.
"We're dating" I blurted out before I could stop myself.
My mom came running over hugged us both before pulling back, "I knew it, I knew it! You guys are so cute, let me get a picture" She said running over and grabbing her phone but I stopped her before she could.
"Mom, please" I told her and she nodded but still had that big smile on her face.
My mom finally went to the kitchen to make breakfast and I turned to look at Vivian who was playing with her fingers.
"You okay?" I asked and she looked up at me and smiled with a genuine smile. She looked back down and grabbed my hand and started playing with it.
I chuckled quietly and she ignored it, continuing to play with my hand. Soon my mom finished making the food and me and Vivian sat down to eat.
Vivian ate a piece before she started playing with it and moving it around to make it look like she ate more.
"Do you want me to help?" I asked and she shook her head. I didn't help her at first but she didn't eat any after she said she didn't need help so I picked up her fork and helped her eat at least half.
"You need to eat, baby" I told her and she nodded.
I grabbed her hand and told my mom that we were leaving for school before bringing her out to my car.
"You look good in my jersey" I whispered in her ear causing her cheeks to flush before I opened the passenger door for her and she got in.
I got in on the drivers side and started to drive to school. She started playing with her hands again so I put my hand out for her and she grabbed it immediately and started playing with it.
We got to school a few minutes later and I opened the door for her. She got out and I held her hand as we walked into the school.
People already assumed we were dating since I was always with her but some people still showed shock when we walked in. From what I could tell Vivian didn't like the attention put she put on a brave face and held my hand tighter.
"If anyone says anything to you, tell me" I whispered in her ear and she nodded. I kissed her cheek before walking her to her first class.
"I'll come get you after class" I said and she looked confused for a second.
"Your my girlfriend now, i'm not going to let you walk alone in the halls" I told her.
"Thank you" she said quietly. Something I realized was when we were at school, she was more shy. I just kissed her forehead and she walked into her classroom and sat in the back corner.
I went to my next class and Nick walked in sitting next to me.
"Hey man, so how's Vivian?" He winked and I rolled my eyes.
"We're dating actually" I told him and his jaw dropped.
"Oh thank god! I thought it would take you forever to realize you like her" he said.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"I mean the way you looked at her when you first met her, I could see it. I'm a matchmaker"
"You didn't do shit to make us be together"
"No but I knew"
I rolled my eyes and the teacher walked in and started the lesson.
I just wanted it to be over so I could see my girl.
