I'm really almost better and I've got
My good days and bad days
My up days and down days and I've got
Just about a month left before I can leave
The circle of people with problems just like me
And I'll miss the friends that I've made but
They need to stay awhile longer it's best
That they figure out why they lost their oh-so perfect
Beautiful freckled boys and their peace of mind
And they need to realize they can still garden
Without rubbing their knuckles raw nearly to bone
Trying to rid them of the bacteria and dirt
And your lips or any other part of you does not need to be picked at because
They are perfectly fine the way they are
And even though they may have lost a lot there's still a lot to preserve and a lot to come
And they need to know that their demons shall always remain, but they can be tamed
And I've almost learned to tame mine.
