Once he arrived at the Merry weather dock, he saw Kevin showing off the helicopters to a businesswoman; she had two well-armored guards accompanying her. Ricky would straighten his clothing in his rearview mirror before stepping out of his car and walking towards them, where he would introduce himself to the women.
Their business meeting would last a couple of hours, and the result was that Ricky would leave this deal with some new customers, and he and Kevin would walk away with twelve million dollars tax-free. This would call for celebration, and Kevin would hit the town that night with half the money. While Ricky would try to convince Natalia to let him see Sierra. He would send Natalia texts, but she would not respond, so feeling down, Ricky would stop by a local gas station and buy two bottles of Whiskey. Then he drove to the Vinewood sign, put his car in park, and turned it off.
He took a deep breath as he took in the silence; he then stepped out and took a seat on the hood. Ricky opened his first bottle of whisky. As he looked at the night sky view of Los Santos, his now quiet mind would soon be filled with the thoughts of him killing and fighting. Then, a feeling of tiredness fell over him as he took a swig of whisky. He then pulled out his 1911, holding it in his hands, and he wondered whether this life was worth it or not if he was doing it for a good means, and what people would remember him for if he was gone. And if he should do the right thing.
Ricky then pulled the slide back, and a bullet flew out of the chamber. Ricky grabbed it before it hit the ground. He wondered why and how such a small piece of metal and gunpowder could be so destructive. He then placed the bullet down on the hood next to him as he took the last swig out of his whisky bottle. Ricky would throw the now-empty bottle at the Vinewood sign, the bottle shattering against it.
He then got off his hood when a sudden wave of pain hit him again. He struggled to get into his car, where he pulled out the painkillers from the center console and proceeded to take two again. Ricky then took a deep breath, started his car, and headed over to Natalia's house. The night sky was present as he was driving, and the moon was shining behind the clouds. Ricky thought about not showing up, as it might have been for the best, but it was too late. He had already arrived at their house, gathered his courage, and walked to the front door, but he could not bring himself to knock on the door. Ricky broke down.
It seemed that the weight of his sins and the villain role that he was given had broken Ricky; he was just sitting on the steps of Natalia's house, feeling like the world had caved in on him. While trying to gather, he heard the words "Daddy." Ricky swallowed the lump feeling in his throat and turned around. The mail slot was open, and Sierra was looking through it. Ricky smiled as emotions started to swell. He would take off his ski goggles to reveal his green eyes. He reached into the slot to meet his daughter's hand, "Hey, how's my little girl doing?" Ricky said while trying to hold it together. " You know I love you very much, and I will keep you safe no matter what." Ricky then slowly removed his bandana, exposing his burned and scarred face, but Sierra could not see them as she only saw his eyes and the top of his forehead.
Ricky's weight of depression had turned into joy and happiness. Then, Natalia's voice was heard in the background. Ricky said, '' I will be back later. I love you, kiddo." He then kissed his two fingers and placed them on Sierra's forehead.
He would quickly move away from the house as he heard Natalia say, "Baby, who are you talking to?" The lights inside would turn on. Ricky quickly ran across the street, dove into his car, and lowered his seat. He knew Natalia would not recognize the car as she hadn't seen him since the attempt on his life. Ricky then waited for the lights inside the house to be turned off. He then started the car and headed back to Grape Seed. Once they drove back to Sandy Shores, Ricky would feel the stress of the whole situation rest on him. The idea of a criminal out to hurt his family just to get back at him did not sit right.
