(Just a warning if any of you reading are big Tsukasa fans this definitely isn't a chapter for you lmao)
Amane happily made his way to his class after knowing exactly what he did before leaving Yashiro. If it wasn't obvious already, he liked her a lot and was a little jealous of Teru. I mean, he's so popular, it's annoying. But he's handsome too, so Amane could understand why Yashiro liked him so much, but he thought he was scary and intimidating. He's nowhere near as popular as Teru is. The boy skipped happily into his class anyways with his teacher, Tsuchigomori noticing.
"Ah, good morning, Amane. How are you doing?" he said, chuckling at the younger boy's happy mood.
Amane places his bag down next to his desk and smiles. "I'm doing great, Tsuchigomori-Sensei. I don't think I've ever been happier."
"Is that so?" The older man chuckles, taking a sip from his coffee mug. "What's the cause of it, hm?"
The dark-haired boy sits on the windowsill as usual. "I'm going to that new aquarium with Nene, Kou and Mitsuba later."
"That sounds fun. I hope you have a good time, Amane." Tsuchigomori sighs, rubbing at his temple before speaking. "Speaking of 'good', Tsukasa was moved into a separate homeroom. He'll remain there until further notice."
"I noticed that it was a little quieter than usual. Thanks again for helping me yesterday..." Amane sighs, leaning against the side of the windowsill. "I'm practically hiding from him every morning..."
His teacher laughs and starts writing on the chalkboard behind him, moving his pipe to the other side of his mouth. "No problem, Amane. You know I'd do anything to keep you safe here, yes? How's your mom doing, by the way? Still sick?"
The boy frowns, bringing his knees up to his chest. "Yeah... I'm... Really worried about her..."
"I hope that she gets better... Do you feel like this is why Tsukasa's been lashing out so much?" Tsuchigomori turns toward Amane, a subtle frown curving at his lips.
"Maybe... I mean, he's always been energetic, but never violent..." He gently places his hand over the spot where Tsukasa cut him. "Ever since Mom got sick... H-he's... He..." Amane stutters, scanning over all the cuts and bruises on his body. "Nevermind..."
"I'm not going to pressure you to tell me, Amane." Tsuchigomori sighs, looking at him. "Only do so when you are ready to, okay?"
Amane smiles weakly at his teacher, eventually hopping off of the windowsill. "I will..."
It soon comes to be lunchtime, with the bell ringing and all the students exiting the classroom. Mitsuba pokes his head into the room, calling for Amane to join him and Kou for lunch. Amane looks up at Tsuchigomori, who nods.
"Heyyy, Amane! Come join us for lunch, yeah?" The pink boy shouts, with Kou standing directly behind him.
"O-Oh, sure!" Amane grabs his bag and quickly runs over to the boys. He waves at his teacher before exiting the room with them, who waves back.
"Hey, do you have any idea where Radish-Chan is? Kou and I haven't been able to find her anywhere!" Mitsuba fidgets with his sleeve, looking over at the other boys.
"Uh, no actually. I haven't seen her since we left the cafeteria. Maybe she's with Aoi?" He replies, his face turning into a worried look.
"Oh yeah! I think I saw Aoi-Senpai watering some plants into that classroom over there!" The two boys look to where Kou is pointing and make their way over to an open classroom door. "Helloooo? Anyone in there?"
Aoi jumps and turns toward the door. "Oh! Kou-Kun! Is everything all right?"
"We can't find Nene..." Amane says. Aoi notices his worried expression and frowns.
