"They won't appear today" Bella looks my way as she drives us to school, there's a dent in the truck because Tyler's van nearly crushed her but Edward saved her. How? It's because he's a vampire, why he saved her though? That is a mystery. I mean he looks hungry around her, so why save her? Whenever he's near me he looks constipated.

"What?" She asks me

"The weather is nice" pointing to the sun that is out closing my eyes, were going to have lunch outside today "Dr and Mrs Cullen take them out of school to go hiking and camping, always happens whenever it's nice"

"Don't you find it weird?" She asks

Shrugging my shoulders "Not really, Forks gets probably five sunny days during the spring at most. The sun mostly comes out during the summer and by then school is over and it's summer break"

"But you agree" she continued this conversation "that it's weird, how they act is weird"

Nodding my head keeping my eyes closed "I find it weird, no one else will bother because they keep their distance. Ask anyone else in the town Bella and they'll just say that they are private people but I don't think they are human" I think back to the Quileute legends that I once heard when I had a sleepover with Jacob, the night was a bonfire and I was the first outsider to hear the stories "they act anything but human"

"What do you think then?" She asks "about what they are?"

Opening my eyes to look at her "My mind goes to vampires, because of how pale they are and how they look beautiful especially that Rosalie and eyes are always different. One minute golden then black—I don't trust them Bella, they've given no reason to trust them"

"Why don't you want to go to prom?" She asks

"Hmm?"

She shrugs her shoulders "I know I don't want to go prom because all the attention that will be on me...but why not you?"

"Paul" she realizes the meaning behind the name, I then have an idea "why don't we go together?" She looks my way briefly "you and me, we go to prom together? It'll be a great memory plus mom is still in the area for o a few more days. We could go prom dress shopping with her?"

"I told everyone" biting her lip "that we will be going to Florida to see mom and Phil"

"Say mom told you it was non refundable and that she lied" grabbing my phone asking mom about going prom dress shopping with us "that we're going together, I mean who needs dates anyway? Even though prom is a right of passage or whatever some people lose their virginity that night and I know that's what Paul wanted or part of him and I need a better prom night" showing her the next "and mom is on board with prom dress shopping"

"Okay" a rumble of laughter comes from me as she shakes her head "I can't believe I'm agreeing to this"

"Oh Bella, Evie" mom holds out dresses for us to try on, Angela and Jessica are also here since we told them how we're going together. So ow we are looking for dresses, mom is taking pictures of us with her camera to keep as memorable moments. Also I like to scrapbook. Well I'll most likely post on Instagram this whole keep one of the photos and put it in my current diary, I've kept a diary with me since I was four when my parents split up "try on these"

Mom chose this light blue gown for Bella that is like a two piece kind of dress where she has light blue shorts with a halter style cape like dress "Now that's really your style Bella" pointing to that dress, looking at Angela and Jessica "where your hair up with that you two and here" handing Jessica a pair of white gloves "now for my dress"
