We watch as my soulmate takes her daughter into her arms crying before storming out "Evie!" That other humans calls out.

"Bella" Edward grabs her but the humans yells at him angry "Don't!" Looking between the two of them enraged before storming off "Evie! Wait!" I run after my mate not wanting to let her go, I'm not like that wolf shifter and I won't hurt her and I'll hunt down that vampire who raped her.

"Bella I can't" I'm hiding in the corner listening into my mate, no other vampire is near "I just..."

"That Demetri doesn't seem to be anything like Paul" Can't believe that human is defending me, maybe it's because she's into that mind reader "he seems genuine and you smiled when you talked to him and stutter, I've never seen you like that. Jake told me that when you liked a guy you stuttered and was really nervous, when you looked at Demetri I saw you smile a real smile at a guy for the first time"

"I have Lizzie to think about" Evie whispers "what if he kills jet" why would I kill her?

"What if he won't" The human whispers "he seems to genuinely care about you, unlike Paul who literally almost killed your multiple times and killed Ginger and framed the Cullens"

"PAUL KILLED GINGER!" Who is Ginger? Im guessing an animal since the Cullens are dead set on killing humans "I'm gonna kill him"

"How's everything?" Felix is next to me whispering

He rolls his eyes when I cover his mouth with my hand "What I'm saying Evie is that Demetri seems to really like you, I mean that Felix is really hot"

"I thought you liked Edward?" Evie asks

"We aren't talking about me" that Bella whispers "I've got my own guy problems—I mean I'm here because I don't want Edward dead, then there's Jacob back home who I care for deeply and"

"And what?" Evie asks

"Wait! No we're focusing on you!" Bella hissed "Demetri might not kill Lizzie"

"Why would you kill the child?" Felix asks me

Shrugging my shoulders not knowing "What if he never wanted children? I mean..."

"Why don't you ask him?" Bella asks "we see your shadows" Felix and I leave the spot and look at the sisters who look our way. My mate's eyes are red and puffy.

"We need to go back Isabella" Felix holds his hand out for the two to leave, me and Evie remain along with Lizzie who sleeps.

That human grabs my arm warning me "Hurt my sister and if I leave to be turned later I'll kick your ass with my newborn strength but if I die I'll haunt you from beyond the grave" she leaves as Felix looks amused while my only focus is on my mate. She and Felix are still there especially when I hear her slap Felix hissing "I don't care if you have the strength to hurt me, my sister"

"Evie?" She stares at me "why don't we sit down?" We sit down on the bench looking at one another "I don't have any intention on hurting you"

"How do I know that?" She asks

"I'd like to prove myself to you" taking her hand holding it to my chest "even though my heart doesn't beat, my soul begs for you. I'm not like this Paul, I'd never hurt you or Lizzie. If I had known how much pain you've been in, I would have come as soon as possible"

"Beat it brat" I hear the human snap

"Come on Jane" Felix whispers

Evie looks down to her daughter closing her eyes "I've got a kid and am in the process of adopting another baby"
