"Oi Izuku!" Bakugo's voice boomed at their table.
The green haired teen immediately regained his attention back to the conversation. The others were looking at him worriedly.
"Tch. Did you hear any word I said, you bastard?" Bakugo said as he leaned back to his seat, eyeing the last spicy soba in the cafeteria that was now currently in the possession of one Todoroki heir.
Said heir had the guts to look the explosive teen in the eye, and noisily slurp the noodles.
Bakugo screams.
Ignoring the explosive teen beside him, Iida spoke. "You've been spacing out a lot these days Izuku! That's very uncharacteristic of you!"
"I-I am?" Izuku asked, wide-eyed gaze directed to Uraraka.
"You sure are!" The gravity quirk user answered, cheeks reddening. 'Why did he have to look at me like that!' she yelled in her mind. "I mean you only space out when you mutter though. Now you have this faraway look in your eyes, which is entirely different from your normally enthusiastic look." She added, unknowingly digging her grave as some of the people in the table looked at her with a knowing smile.
"That's a very astute observation Uraraka-san! As expected from a student of UA's Class 1-A!" Iida said, ever oblivious to the situation.
Even Bakugo ceased his yelling as he looked at Uraraka with his own knowing smirk that basically says 'We've been knew, round-face'
If Uraraka had a shovel now, she would've been digging a hole to herself. Now where is Momo when you need her?
"Uraraka's right. Something we need to know, Izuku?" Shinso asked, resting a hand on the greenette's shoulder.
The green haired teen sighed. "I've been having this uneasy feeling that has been nagging me for a while now, like something bad's about to happen." He confessed, eyeing his still untouched katsudon.
"Have you tried talking to All Might about it?" Todoroki offered.
Bakugo eyed the dual quirk user suspiciously. He's pretty sure that he's the only one here that knows.
"Wha-? Why him?" Izuku asked, but regretted that he asked.
"I believe that parents should be informed of their child's discomfort in a school environment." Todoroki said seriously, shoving more of the spicy soba in his mouth.
The table erupted into screams.
"Parent?!"
"What!?!"
"You've been hiding this!?!"
"SHUT UP ALL OF YOU OR I SWEAR TO IZUKU'S ALL MIGHT BOXERS WHEN HE WAS IN THIRD GRADE THAT I'LL SHOVE AN EXPLOSION SO FAR UP YOUR ASSES YOU'LL BE SHITTING IN YOUR MOUTHS!" Bakugo viciously snarled, explosions threatening to be unleashed.
"Guys stop this!" Izuku said as he buried his head in his hands. "Shoto, he's not my dad ok?"
"If you say so." The latter said as he calmly ate more of his soba, as if he did not cause a ruckus just seconds ago.
"Damn half 'n half and his conspiracy theories." Bakugo growled in his seat, still glaring at the soba that was, still in his current belief, supposed to be his.
The bell rang which signaled for the end of the lunch break. Bakugo was still staring at the now finished bowl, wearing a look of a mixture of longing and anger.
Classes were fairly normal for today. They had heroics classes with All Might for the entire afternoon and they only covered the written stuff.
The hero said that they're gonna be having something practical for the next week though.
