Finding the balance in speaking up and cursing a bitch ( bitch is genderless)is hard. Being a young adult is hard, honestly. I fear that our parents have failed us all in the sense. A lot of young adults weren't given the tools to handle certain situations. People lack common sense we all know this but emotional intelligence hardly ever gets talked about. That's why there is such a gap or a disconnect between men and women. I'm learning now that silence is the best answer. However, I will always speak up and advocate for myself because who else will ? People don't know how to interpret silence so all they can do is assume and project. Oddly, that's the beauty of it to me because I get to see how people truly feel.
