It'd been over sixteen years since I'd seen her last, and it made me wonder just how much had changed. Appearance wise not much seemed to be different, her hair still went down back her shoulders in soft waves, and she still had her same crystal blue eyes that could melt me in a flash. However there was a new maturity that tinted over her features, but that's to be expected.. we aren't kids anymore.

"Dr. Hemmings, you made it!" Alex exclaimed, running out from behind the curtain and now making his way toward me. "I'm not really sure what's going on anymore, Ashtons refusing to talk anyone except you."

He found something bad. That was the only plausible explanation behind Ashton keeping secretes from his own medical staff. This new information only put me more on edge, as I brushed past Alex ignoring him completely.

"Do you give us consent to treat now?" I asked, placing a hand on Amy's shoulder to get her attention. The minute she locked her gaze with mine, she threw herself into my arms, sobbing. I latched myself around her tightly, trying not to cry myself. I felt her ball my shirt up into her hands before pulling her head away a bit and looking up to me.

"You have to save her Luke. Please. I give you consent to do anything and everything that it takes." As she spoke, I brushed the hair from out of her face, and took it into my hands.

"I'm going to do the best I can Amy." I promised her, before detaching our bodies from each other and making my way toward the trauma bay in front of us. Before I made it to the curtain though, Ashton emerged from behind it, and grabbed my arm roughly, pulling me away from both the room and Amy.

"We've got a problem Luke." Ashton relayed to me, his voice hushed and frantic. I crossed my arms and prepared myself for whatever words were about to come from his mouth.

He took one last deep breath before looking me dead in my eyes and saying,

"Bombay."

"No fucking way-"
