Celestria POV
The sound of the door closing causes me to turn my head, a soft smile gracing my lips as Corina and Yennefer walk in behind Geralt. I smirk before turning around to finish the last bits of dinner. "Gave in I see," I chuckle quietly to myself as Geralt stands next to me. He hums in return, clearly not having much to say about it. This only makes me laugh harder. "Help me set the table,"
We put everything onto the table, making sure everything is ready before we all sit down in the dwarf sized chairs, none of us commenting on the slight discomfort they bring. We all serve ourselves food, passing around the dishes to someone who hasn't gotten before serving ourselves something else.
Before long, this becomes a small tradition. The girls joining me to make dinner. Laughing joyously as we cook and chatter. Once dinner is on the table, laughter spreads throughout all of us. Joking and telling stories of our separate journeys. I have to say that is one of the highlights of my day.
The five of us sit at the table, the chatter dying down slightly as everyone nears the end of their meals. Small chatter is still going on but it comes to a stop at the sound of babbling and high pitch squeaking. We all turn to see Viserys crawling towards the dining table. My heart clenches and my eyes sting as I grab hold of Geralt's hand. "He's crawling," The baby gives the table a gummy smile before stopping and sitting, clapping his hands. We all join him, clapping and cheering whilst chuckling.
"Alright, I'm gonna head to bed. I'll take Viserys with me,"
"Okay. Goodnight sweet girl," Cirilla kisses my forehead before saying goodnight to the others, she then runs over to her brother, swooping him up in a fit of giggles as they both head to bed. I turn my attention back to the table, the energy between Geralt and Yennefer turning slightly tense and awkward.
"We should head to bed too, yeah?" Corina puts her hand over Yennefer's with a smile, seeming to pick up the shift of energy as well.
Yennefer nods with a small smile. "Goodnight,"
"Goodnight you two, sleep well," I call out as they both leave the house. "They're quite cute, don't you think?" I begin to clear the table, stacking the plates atop of each other.
"What do you mean?" I turn to look at Geralt as he carries the glasses to the kitchen. "What?"
"They like each other,"
His face scrunches in confusion. "Really?"
"You are the most oblivious man I've ever met," I chuckle as I place the last few dishes in the sink, turning back to my husband.
"No I'm not,"
I tilt my head with a straight face. "Geralt, when did you realize I was attracted to you?"
