Chapter 6: Cold darkness beneath the cozy hallways

~~~~The Snoozefest Hotel~~~~
The building had the structure of an old dark bricked castle, with weeping willows placed along the stoned pathways.

The group stared upon the old medieval styled door.

"Wanna take a look around? There's a urban legend that goes like this..a priest and the parents on floor three were performing a exorcist on their possessed demonic child while they were vacationing as the evil entity targeted the kid overnight..the child jumped through the window and ran into the hotel's park forest, disappearing within the depth of the trees ...at night if you wonder around the park you can here the distant demonic-like screaming of pain as the boy tries to control the demon within him..."

"That's..that's"

"Would it be something if we find out if it's true?!?" Melanie makes a wide frisky smile.

"I prefer if we not, Mel" Scarlett crosses her arms. "Just take a look around at this spooky hotel, show Lou around the areas,  say hi to the nice ghosts and that is it"

"But it's a thriller!"

"And the last thing we need is getting lost"

"Also I heard that hikers  said that they thought they heard strange screams in the distance!"

The hotel had floral wallpaper, decorated with paintings and portraits with victorian tables a lounged chairs placed along the lobby area.

The gang snuck past the employee that was busy on his phone at the front desk.

The five of them split up while exploring the halls.

Lou leaned against a wall a slumped down to the floor to a sitting position. Ellen finds him there a sits down next to him.

"What do you think of the big world so far? The town square, barber shop, and this hotel?"

"It's..different then where I'm from" He stared at the walls

"At least you don't have to worry about..cleaning"

He blinks and looks at Ellen.

"I know you can be better..then..how you were"

Lou softly sneers, "I know how I am, I was a prototype of the perfect doll, I was perfection, and a leader to them"

"But how you were to the-"

"The rejects? They were just rejects. Ugly"

"Lou..you have to realize..here in this world not everyone is perfect.."

Lou raised a eyebrow at what she said to him.Ellen nodded her head a bit.Lou frowned "Well..they know I'm no longer..perfect though, to them.."

"Then that's ok. You're here and not t-there".

"What's with this stuttering? Nervous around me?~"

"Ehehe maybe at times~, but I inherited a stutter"

The two suddenly hear a noise, it came from an animal that turned out to come to be sitting happily in front of them. A feline sat there with really large round glowing green eyes.

Lou flinched back from the cat, "what tha-is-"

The cat stands up to his feet and trots off."Oh-Here kitty kitty" Ellen gets up and walks after the cat as Lou follows behind. The feline trotted faster and faster as Ellen continued to follow after it.

"Ellen??"

The feline then phased through a door.

"A ghost k-kitty..!"
