I'm filling out reports, when I hear a shredder going off, I look up to see Dwight shredding paper, I look over at Jim to see he is on a call and looking annoyed, This is Jim sale of the year, when he makes this sale he gets 25% of commission for the whole year and this year he is pushing recycled paper on them for one percentage more, since I started working here, he buys two mini bottles of champagne and puts them in his desk, so when he gets the sales, we stay after work and open in up in celebration its become a tradition between to the two of us when we have a year sales. I reach over and pull the plug so it shuts off, Jim carries on his sales call, until Dwight presses the dial tone on Jim phone cutting off his call, I call Dwight's name in my angry tone, he shrugs his shoulders, telling me its tit for tit. That is not even the expression but I just flip him off. I'm in the kitchen making me, Jim and Pam coffees and teas, when I look at the window and see them talking and laughing together, I sigh, playing with my scrunchy for a while then carry on making the hot drinks. Phyllis walks up behind me after seeing my face and hugs me from behind, I smile at that. She is the only person in the office that knows about my secret love and she has kept it a secret for a long time which I am grateful for.
Michael calls everyone into the conference room ready to start Diversity day with a guy named Al, we head on in and I sit next to Phyllis laying my head onto her shoulder, I hear Michael says something about saying a race who you are attracted to, I see movement in the corner of my eye as Dwight puts his hand up, he clearly states that his is attracted to white and Indian people, I look and see Kelly sitting next to him, I can already tell that she is super uncomfortable. I know I'm suppose to be listen but I'm super tired and I think I ended up falling asleep through the meeting, what feels like minutes I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket. I take it out to look at it and I see a text from Jim. 'Sleeping beauty, time to wake up.' I look in front of me but he is listen to Al. I send a text back telling him to piss off and when I look back up from my phone he has turn around making eye contact with me putting his hand over his heart in offense, I just shrug my shoulders at him and focus my eyes back on the meeting just in time to see Kevin doing the Chris rock joke but Michael says he is doing it wrong and does it himself. I just play with the scrunchy on my wrist distracting myself.
Al tells us about the acronym Hero. Dwight explains what a hero is, even thou I can't see Jim face but I know he is trying to not laugh and I see him nodding his head as Dwight speaks. As he says we all have a hero in our heart, I learn forward in my seat and whisper "Like Batman" Jim snorts out a laugh as I sit back and everyone turns to look at him but he just nods. then turns to my giving me the evil eye. Al hands us all a sheet and we head back to work as I walk past Jim desk he pushes me and I nearly fall, I laugh out loud and say "I'M BATMAN" Jim laughs at me and pushes me to my seat as he starts to make calls. Me and Jim end up sitting in the kitchen together with our forms, while he aimlessly plays with the hair tie on my wrist, we talk about random stuff and what we plan to do on the weekend. I'm off to Phyllis house for dinner, I invited him and he says he will think about it, I also tell him about my plan to fix her up with a guy named Vance. I told him that I'm not sure yet so I'm waiting it out for a while. We both sign the papers at the bottom and head back to get work done.
When we go back into the conference room, where Michael shows us a video he had created it lasts for about 2 minutes and it was the most pointless video ever, he then procced to get comfortable with Oscar race which he really didn't need to do. Michael then tells us to take a card and put it on our heads and we have guess what race we are. I get bored half way through and head out to Jim desk just as he finishes his call, I sit at his desk as he looks over at me. "Why do you have Jewish on your forehead?" "Don't even ask, please come back in, I'm bored and want to go home already, I missing 'you're dogs name." (WHATEVER BREED YOUR DOG IS.) Jim gets up and lead you back into the room he goes off to talk to other while you head over to Phyllis and tell her your out and you two just start having fun together.
Me and Jim leave and see Ryan at reception we head over to wear Ryan is watching Chappelle's show. He said that he hopes he don't mind downloading it to pam's computer, Jim hands me and sweet and I eat it while looking over the desk at the screen, Ryan said that she's cute and Jim replies as yes but she's engaged, I look down trying not to show sadness in my face as Ryan explains that he meant the women in the show, I end up walking away into the kitchen to get myself a cup of tea, I sit by the vending machine as I get lost into my own thoughts.

"What do you guys want me to do, I can't say anything it will ruining our friendship and I don't know if I can do that. Should I quit? Try to find a new job?" I sniff as I look down wiping a tear from my eyes. "I'm sorry, Am I enjoying today? Well I don't think I need to answer that."
"Hey guys, I saw Y/n looking upset when you was talking to her is she okay? I should just ask her right. Am I enjoy my day "Yeah, its pretty good so far, just worried about Y/n now, I'll ask her later"

People are still trying to guess what card they have on their foreheads, when Kelly walks in, Michael starts to take the piss out of her accent when she slaps him across the face, I start to slow clap but nobody joined in so I stopped, I look over and Jim send me a thumbs up, patting himself on the back. I stick my tongue out at him and head to my desk to get some work done. I see Jim walk over to Dwight desk and set two mini champagne bottles down, I follow him into the kitchen and ask what's going on when he tells me that Dwight stole his client. I hug him as tight as I can as he hugs me back just as tight, we stay like that for a few minutes. We slowly pull away and our faces are inches from each other, if I learn in I could kiss him but the only thing I do is whisper that its going to be okay, we pull apart but I hold back to calm the blush that has over took my face, I walk to the conference room door, I look over a Jim to see Pam asleep on his shoulder and he is smiling to himself, I walk to my desk grab my bag and head him shaking my head at the camera's as they watch my leave.
I'm in the middle of watching Love actually when I hear a knock at my door, I walk over to open it, when I see Jim holding Chinese food and he barges his way in. "I saw you was upset early talking with the crew, is everything okay?" "Yeah I'm fine, I'm just tired." "I need to tell you something Y/n?" I suck in my breath as I know where this is going "I think I'm in love with pam." "You know she is engaged right? What are you hoping for her to not get married and be with you?" "I don't know Y/n, I just want to see where this goes and see if we can be together, I want you to help me?" "Jim, I don't think it's a good idea, I want you to be happy, of course I do but I don't know how I can help you with this." "Please Y/n, you are the only person I trust and I really need your help" "Fine, but I need you to leave because I'm going to bed." "But I just got here and I have food, come on at least eat first." "No Jim. I'm not hungry, can you please just leave my apartment." " Are you sure that your okay, you know you can tell me anything right?" " I know and if there was anything wrong I would but like I already told you, I'm fine, I'm just super tired and tomorrow will not be a good day for me." "Oh, shit Y/n, I can't believe I forgot. I'm stupid." "It's fine really, it's clear that there are important thing to you right now, You can leave now." It goes quiet and awkward as he nods and leaves, I turn around learning my head back onto the door thinking about my parents death and now the person I love, happens to be in love with someone else, I slide down the door letting all my tear falls as I feel myself breaking apart from the inside, the feeling that is inside me right now, is the same feeling I got when I lost my parents. I reach for my phone after calming down all my thoughts and pull up the contact that I need right now. I tell her everything and the next thing I hear is my knocking like someone is trying to break in. I stand up and open the door slowly when she sees me, she gives me the biggest hug ever. She slowly pulls me over to the couch where I lay my head onto her lap and she plays with my hair until I'm asleep, she doesn't once talk or tries to give me advice, she just tells me everything is going to be okay. This is why I love Phyllis and any man who gets her will be the luckiest man in the world.
